Thunder Valley’s Fairy King Harlequin aka “King” is back again! King is my 13 week-old longhaired Bloodhound. His long coat is the result of a gene mutation which occurred spontaneously. The breeder was not aware that this gene even existed in the breed, but when this litter started looking awfully fuzzy, she had the parents’ genetics tested further and found they were both carriers. Though he can’t show, King is perfectly healthy, happy, and wonderful. He loves water and having existential crises. You can follow his and his Basset sister Maggie’s adventures on IG @maggieandking
