I just feel like the take in the theatrical version is better because there are pauses and emphasis on certain words that are very well placed, plus you can hear him getting angrier. The digital take they went with doesn't give me any of that I feel :'/

OR WAS I JUST SUPPOSED TO STARE AT JASON SCHWARTZMAN FOR A WHILE. I FORGOT HE HAD THOSE MOLES BUT I RECOGNIZED THEM INSTANTLY.

I did a couple more Johnathon / Spot drawovers!! This is so fun. I'm also finally starting to get used to drawing him! YES!! <3
spiderpeople that could defeat spot first try:
1. spider-ham (cartoon logic dictates that he can just pick up the holes)
2. sun-spider (disabled solidarity. would probably get spot to come to the realization that hes 100% disabled and be empathetic about it)
3. spider-punk (would explain that a majority of spots problems originate from the shitty system hes in and that capitalism is the problem, not miles)
I was planning to do a whole expression sheet Ami Thompson style with Ohnn but I only managed to do this before I completely lost interest
Whenever I watch ATSV I like to imagine Spot doing the things he's doing but in his human form. Oftentimes I struggle to picture it and this evening I was like YOU KNOW WHAT!! I will draw it... So I did some draw-overs of Johnathon!! The lovely man!
This was incredibly fun to do?? It was such a good exercise on lighting and composition. I'm not sure if anyone's done this yet but regardless, here you go!! Some funky Johnathons!
