DYSCALCULIA TOOL ALERT!
This is an acrylic magnifying glass with a green strip in it that helps you read long strings of numbers! It's been known for a while that putting a colored filter over pages can help people with dyscalculia read numbers without them flipping places, but this is the first time I've seen something so simple and accessible. I put it on some test numbers and my eyes didn't feel like they kept wanting to jump around all over the number. I can keep this on my desk and use it on paper, or hold it up to my monitor to read long numbers at work! It may help people in other ways as well, this is just what I bought it for and I already love it!

too many people on this site claim to be into toxic love cannibalism gore blood violence weird gross sex etc etc when it’s like 1. you are scared of having even regular sex and 2. you can’t even drink a beer bc it’s too icky like i don’t think you’re gonna be chugging human blood any time soon 👍

#blood is so much more palatable than beer though#I mean definitely dont chug blood if you're not used to it because the consistency is weird#but like it tastes like having a penny in your mouth as a child while your parents frantically try to pry your jaw open#so nostalgic#not to mention its sustenance you don't have to chew which is amazing when you just dont have the energy to gnaw through a steak#Drinking blood is actually a common tradition in many cultures that ties in to the hunt and becoming a man/adult/leader#so you get to pretend you're a mighty hunter while you drink it too#when really you just pay the huterites down the road for the blood they drain when they butcher and animal#its freat for iron and you can use it in soups and sauced if you prefer it cooked

I had to make a call to the city services today. I'm Canadian born Caucasian and I have audio processing disorder. I struggle with processing English sometimes, so accents just make that hell.
I had a woman with a thick Indian accent answer, and I had to ask her to repeat herself so many times. I felt so bad. I'm not dumb, I know that this is a tactic racists use to belittle people, and I wouldn't dare ask for someone without an accent even if that makes things more accessible to me. When I finished the call, I made sure to tell her
"Thank you so much, you've covered all my questions, you're awesome, thank you."
It was a little harder for me to work with someone else's accent, but with a little effort on my part, I think I made it a good experience for her too.

this made me think of something i've been meaning to paint since may and keep forgetting. i looked at the demon king's bow when link uses it in totk and thought 'huh that's a quite big bow, must be a pain to draw back for a small dude like link'. but then i remembered that he can even handle lynel bows so this would be nothing
but not everybody knows that. so then that led to the thought 'ganondorf is a good archer. what if link requested that he showed him how to use that bow and then pretended that his teeny tiny little arms are not strong enough to draw it'. he struggles pathetically while ganon glares until it looks stupid enough that he interferes and puts link's hand right on the bow, leaning right in, and corrects his pose etc etc all while cursing him out. meanwhile link is grinning and going 'eheheheheheehehehe success'
then when ganondorf manages to get link to fire off one good shot he looks down just to see the gremlin shite smirking up at him all sly
This has been on my mind for too long I need to do something about it
Ganondorf purposely taking nothing but fruits as meals when he's out all day, knowing that Link will find out and start cooking gourmet meals for him to take instead.
Link leaving his hair unbrushed for days just to watch Ganondorf slowly lose his shit, as hair maintenance and presentation is very ingrained in Gerudo culture.
Ganondorf leaving hundreds of apples scattered everywhere in an area he knows Link is going to visit, just to watch in amusement as the hero excitedly spends 5 hours picking up apples.
Link sneaking handfulls of sand into Ganondorfs shoes every night before going to bed.
Ganon hiding one item out of every set of clothing Link has.
Link deadass staring at Ganondorf while he crushes solid rock salt in his mouth like its a crunchy snackie.
