Colors
So for my contribution for the 1st of July, Nivanfield Day, I drew up something small. It´s based on the song ‘Colors’ by Halsey. The original message of the song is that sometimes being in a relationship can lead to you losing all your colors. But for what I did I changed it up a bit, the lyrics and the meaning. This piece is about Chris and Piers post-Lanshiang. Piers survived but barely and is slowly to his road to recovery. And despite him really being physically weak and vulnerable, Chris seems in an equally bad shape. He’s blaming himself hard for what happened and allows it to eat him up slowly. The only thing that is able to set that aside is Piers. So really, this is actually about them needing each other, that one special person that is able to get your true colors out, no matter how deep they were buried.
