MATCHA.

This shit is so good you guys andddd it’s 0 CALORIES. I’m actually surprised matcha hasn’t taken off as much as coffee.

Benefits:

-promotes weight loss

-has hella antioxidants

-caffeinated! If you can’t stomach coffee, matcha is for you

-boosts metabolism

-rich in fiber (helps keep you full)

- 1 CUP OF MATCHA = 10 CUPS OF GREEN TEA (nutrition wise)

How I make my 0 CAL matcha:

Ingredients:

-matcha powder (unsweetened)

-water

-stevia (opt)

-vanilla (opt but highly recommend)

Mix ½-2tsp of matcha with 1 cup of water with a fork or whisk. I’m a lil bitch so I add 2 stevia packets and mix again. Microwave that shit for 1 minute. If you want, add ½-1tsp of vanilla. Mix one mo time and THATS IT!!

-if you want it iced, you can just leave the drink in the fridge for like 15 min and then add ice!

-optional: The matcha drink comes off as already being “creamy” but if you want you can add unsweetened almond milk!

Positivi-Tea!

For the annon who asked for types of tea to drink in witchcraft.

There are lots of amazing herbs to use for tea that have so many benefits physically and spiritually but please please please be careful. Do more research and remember not all herbs are food grade

I will only be talking about teas that I am familiar with. They are quite common and you shouldn’t have difficulty finding them. I have made my own tea out of herbs I’ve grown but that’s a post for another day.

Green Tea
  • Green tea has been used medicinally for centuries. It is known to prevent cancer, reduce risk of stroke, reduce ldl cholesterol (the bad one), boost metabolism and is used for weight loss, improve brain function and prevent Alzheimer’s, prevents heart disease, good for your teeth and kills bacteria, and its proven to help you live longer. Its magical properties are equally abundant. Green tea is used for all kinds of healing magic, used for longevity, brings wealth and can be used in money spells, great for love spells and improves sexual performance, boosts energy, banishes negativity so its great for cleansings.
Black Tea
  • Black tea is something to turn to when you need a pick me up. Its the most caffeinated of the teas I’m mentioning, not as much a coffee but still a decent amount. It’s full of antioxidants, prevents cancer, reduces risk of stroke, improves gut health, boosts heart health, can reduce blood sugar levels and blood pressure, helps to regulate diabetes, improves focus. It can be used in witchcraft for so many different things. Drink it for courage, banishes boredom, brings wealth and can be used in money spells, stimulates the mind, and its just a great tea to drink if you’re feeling a but down and need a little boost.
Chamomile Tea
  • A lovely tea to drink for a good night’s sleep and sweet dreams but it also has so much more to offer. Chamomile harnesses the energy of the sun which helps promote healing and banishes negativity. It relieves stress and anxiety, helps an upset stomach, and is truly one of the best cures for a hard time sleeping or bad dreams. On nights when you feel anxious, need to protect yourself from some type of darkness looming, or just need a little self care and relaxation Chamomile is the way to go.
Peppermint Tea
  • Peppermint is such a great thing. I’ve been drinking peppermint tea medicinally since I was little. It’s great for stomach aces, soothing headaches, great to drink when you’re feeling a bit anxious, and lovely for sore throats (when my throat is sore I can’t eat almost an entire tin of Altoids, mint really helps). It’s abundant in spiritual benefits too. It brings good luck, banishes negativity while promoting positive thinking, it is said to repel vampires, it’s great for bringing inspiration and clearing the mind, and promotes overall physical and spiritual healing. Definitely one to keep in the pantry!
Hibiscus Tea
  • Hibiscus tea is a beautiful, tart floral tea that tastes similar to cranberry juice, but its lovely all year. Its full of antioxidants, prevents cancer, improves liver health, fights bacteria, and its a natural diuretic. Hibiscus attracts love, lust, passion, and divination. Great to drink for a love spell, used to cause prophetic dreams, and it can be used in wedding ceremonies.
Ginger Tea
  • A hot cup of ginger tea might just be the best thing on a cold winter night. Ginger tea is wonderful for relieving nausea, great for gut health, fights respiratory issues, reduces inflammation, strengthens immune system, relieves period cramps, reduces stress, and its packed with vitamin C and magnesium. Ginger is great for attracting love and passion. Draws wealth, success, and prosperity.
Lemon Balm Tea
  • I grow lemon balm all summer, you can just put fresh leaves into water and let them steep. I really recommend it. Lemon balm is used to treat stress and anxiety, indigestion, heartburn, cold sores, and insomnia. It can be used in love spells, fertility spells, to help ease depression and anxiety. Lemon Balm brings calm, happiness, longevity, love, success, youthfulness, its great for psychic development, and keeping the mind working smoothly. It is often associated with the moon. Lemon Balm is said to be sacred to the temple of Diana.

MY HEALTHY TIPS IF UR RESTRICTING

🌱 drink water. if you’re seeing this you probably already know this, but seriously. I drink enough water every day that my pee is literally clear. 🌱 tea def counts towards hydration! I drink mint, green, chamomile, and dandelion usually. 🌱 speaking of tea, if you really struggle with bloating I highly recommend Yogi’s Detox tea. It’s like $4 a box and works for me. I drink it an hour before bed and it does its magic overnight. You can find it in most grocery stores. 🌱 people say green tea helps metabolism. Honestly I’m not so sure about this. I personally take vitamin c in the mornings because 1) it helps my immune system and 2) it does boost your metabolism (acid/citrus both raise your metabolism - why people also encourage grapefruit and apple cider vinegar to lose weight). 🌱 I take complete vitamins almost every day. If you restrict a lot and for a long time, you will NEED vitamins. You want to get thin, but I doubt you also want weak bones, bad teeth, bad nails, bad hair, bad skin, etc. So take your vitamins, please please please. 🌱 I usually eat 600-1000 calories a day, but with exercise and walking I usually net 300-500. 🌱 I try to eat healthy and unprocessed foods. I’m actually a low carb high fat person, but in general try to eat lots of leafy greens and protein and some fruit every day. I usually have some almond butter for breakfast, a salad with chicken and veggies for lunch with a lil dressing, some veggies/fruit for an afternoon snack, and I usually skip dinner. Staying away from carbs - breads and pastas and stuff - also helps keep down bloating in most people. 🌱 vary your caloric intake. Usually during the week I keep my calories down, but on the weekend I allow myself to net more like 800-1000 calories. This let’s you indulge on foods you’d otherwise stay away from - I eat some pizza and ice cream on these days. This can help prevent binges because you know you’ll get whatever food you’re craving sometime in the next week. it also boosts your metabolism, and it keeps your body from getting too adjusted to a consistent caloric intake. People also frequently plateau when their bodies adjust to their intake. This is why some people experience significant weight loss after a binge day. 🌱 fasting can def be helpful - I usually fast once a week just to give my system a break and just eat light foods and liquids. I do try to get at least 200 calories spread out over a day of fasting because that’s what your body needs to keep its metabolism running. I usually burn it all off though with exercise and just walking. Never fast longer than 48 hours - your body will start to eat away at itself for energy when it burns through carbs and some fat. When you do fast, absolutely drink lots of liquids. When you’re coming out of a fast, don’t binge or eat something big. Be gentle on your body and ease back into regular eating with some fruit, veggies, or a small salad. 🌱 PLEASE DO NOT PURGE. it is so, so bad for you. throwing up a few hundred calories is not worth the damage to your body. Please. 🌱 PLEASE DO NOT USE LAXATIVES. not only do they damage your body if you try to use them for weight loss, but they don’t actually do anything for you - the idea that they prevent the absorption of calories is a MYTH. so please don’t use them unless you have to. I have to use laxatives every once in a while because I literally will go weeks without a bowel movement at all, but I always take the proper dosage and I always drink lots of water. PLEASE BE SAFE. 🌱 I try to exercise five days a week and rest on weekends. Usually 30 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of weights. I do this to help burn calories, up my metabolism, tone my muscles, and to try to prevent muscle loss because of restriction. I always eat a few slices of turkey or ham or a couple ounces of chicken after I work out - your body needs protein to help its muscles and to prevent muscle loss. YOUR BODY DOES NEED REST. Please don’t work out like crazy 24/7 because you will fatigue and wear down your body and you will feel tired and achey 24/7. Don’t be afraid to take rest days. 🌱 I personally have a very hard time eating with other people because I tend to social eat - I eat mindlessly while talking and stuff and go way over. I also have a hard time stopping when I’m full. To help fight this I only spend a short while eating - just one plate usually - and then I try to leave asap before I’m tempted to eat more. I’m a college student, so this isn’t too difficult, but having sweets and random food everywhere in the dining halls is definitely a challenge. Another way I’ve been trying to prevent excess eating is scrolling through thinspo on my phone while I eat. 🌱 if you feel like you’re going to binge - that you HAVE to eat or you’ll go crazy - try to binge on fruits and veggies. I’ve done this a couple times and even though I feel so full and gross afterwards, my actual caloric intake isn’t as bad if it had been pizza or something. Also I love fruit, so I’m as happy to eat it as anything else. 🌱 don’t go to bed starving. I personally can’t sleep on an empty stomach. Scientifically, people have a hard time sleeping on an empty stomach because our brains are expecting food and will stay alert even when we’re trying to fall asleep. Also, your body’s natural reaction when it’s hungry is to go looking for food, and it kind of panicked if it doesn’t get food but you’re trying to make it fall asleep. I usually eat some nuts or a nut butter before bed because they’ll last in my stomach and keep it full, even if it’s not much.

🙈that’s all for now, folks! maybe I’ll do another round later if I can think of much more. Stay safe and dm me with any comments, concerns, or questions.🙈

Straight people are always askin why girls

But like, have they ever seen a woman? One with nothing on and that ‘come here’ smile. A woman with her hair in a braid laying underneath a tree, a book in her lap smiling at the pages. Those girls you bump into in the bathroom with their make-up bags out laughing and fixing their faces. Girls in their wife beater tank tops working outside, working up a sweat. The ones sitting behind pianos, behind mic stands or music stands jamming out and smiling their brightest. That girl crying in the bathroom who sniffles indignantly when you ask what could possibly be wrong because she simply doesn’t cry in her opinion.

Women are amazing, beautiful, smart, funny. They’re always both strong and gentle, almost never needing cues as to which you need when you need it even if you don’t know how you need it yourself. Why the hell not girls? I get even more frustrated when straight boys ask me this because how can you not appreciate women? And I mean appreciate them in all aspects of what being a woman is, not just that 'lol tits and ass’ shit boys usually give you. Women need to appreciated more because every single one is a goddess in disguise.

Shit you shouldn’t say to people with obvious skin conditions

“You look like crap.” (how nice)

“Do you take drugs?” / “Are you high?”

“You look sick - it’s disgusting.” (gee thanks)

“Did you get into a (fist) fight?”

“Is everything alright at home?”

“Did you just cry?”

“Is that on your face contagious?” (that’s one of the worst tbh)

“Have you tried coconut oil / (generic drug store) lotion/…?” (just fuck off)

“Just wash your face.” (how come I never thought about that - thanks for finally openly eyes, stranger who is suddenly an expert in my illness)

Honestly I’m so sick of people with no manners. All of these things have been said to me whenever my atopic eczema acted out around my eyes. Just learn to think before you speak. It’s that easy.
