Who remembers the puppeteers?
Ya'll, Wally's been reminding so much of another favorite puppet of mine-
God I love them.
So I binged Wednesday is a single sitting….. I have so many feelings but the main ones are:
Why can’t she still like Tyler??? A real Addams would love a monster killer for a romantic partner. Also I loved the total flip in his personality with the reveal. Very Jekyll and Hyde accurate.
Scratch that: give us Tyler and go be with Enid. You love her so much Wednesday. She’ll be your Gomez I promise
Xavier was such a red herring that we better see that in season 2 that his dad is a fish
Also Weems was done dirty. She totally could’ve stopped that attack and I’m mad.
Help! I swallowed a fly accidentally! and it was buzzing around so I swallowed a spider to eat the fly and then I swallowed a bird to eat the spider that ate the fly and oh I don’t know what to do! Help me!
alright, alright, alright. calm down. this sounds like it's getting away from you and you're fucking freaking out and just doing random shit that doesn't make any sense. here's what you do: go find a cat
If you get this, I love you
If the cat doesn’t work, you need to get a dog.
Massive Cross Stitch Project
It’s just gorgeous and I wish I could fully credit the artist, but this was something my cousin sent to me and I had no way to track it. The signature on the bottom didn’t really translate clearly over on my cross stitch, but full credit to them for the design.
Anyway, I took pictures as I went, and this project spanned from last May, 2021 to Feb. 9, 2022.
I always save the eyes for last, lol. Anyway, this was around 62,000+ stitches with over 50 colors. I’m so happy with it!!!!
This is freaking badass
the person reblogging this from you is rooting for you to have a happy, healthy, and successfull 2022

LISTEN TO BOB ROSS.
Bob Ross was paid $0 to make his series. He made a living giving lessons IRL and later selling his own line of paints and brushes.
I apologize for not reblogging him as much but everyone needs this on their dash daily. Seriously everyone needs this on their blog or wherever. Do they rerun this anymore or no?
Words of wisdom!
Bob Ross is the calm I didn’t realise I needed in my life until recently.
I can’t paint for toffee but love how easy he makes it look.
Seattle-based artist Carol Milne knits with glass, or rather, she creates wonderful glass sculptures that make it seem as though she’s either a superhuman glass knitter or in possession of enchanted knitting needles and very specialized gloves. The reality is actually much more complicated, but no less awesome. Milne invented her glass knitting technique back in 2006. It’s a process that involves knitting with wax instead of glass, followed by lost-wax casting, mold-making and kiln-casting.
First, a model of the sculpture is made from wax which is then encased by a refractory mold material that can withstand extremely high temperatures. Next, hot steam is used to melt the wax, leaving behind an empty cavity in the shape of the artwork. Pieces of room temperature glass are then placed inside the mold which is then heated to 1,400-1,600 degrees Fahrenheit depending on the type of glass. Afterward, the piece is slowly cooled over a period of several weeks, followed by a careful excavation process, where Milne delicately chips away like an archaeologist to reveal the final piece.
To check out more of Carol Milne’s extraordinary artwork visit the Glass Art Society, Milne’s Facebook page or her online gallery.

Holy shit holy shit holy shit
ID. intricate glass sculptures of knitting, with normal knitting needles in them. in one, the finished knitting turns into hands holding the needles. End ID.
As someone who loves to knit, this is the coolest goddamn thing I’ve ever seen
I have no idea if this is an unpopular opinion but I really don’t want them to make a Harry Potter live-action tv series. I was really excited when they announced the Cursed Child, but I couldn’t get into it at all. I’m not saying it was bad… but it wasn’t good? Does that make sense?
I dunno… I think going beyond the movies, the theme parks, and the fanfiction play…? It’s too much to add a tv series!!
Truth be told, if it was not for JKR, I would probably be in for a series. (I don’t care about live action, as long as the cgi is good). (I also want to clarify; a series that it is not an “Adaption” to the movies or the books!) I don’t know, I feel like she has destroyed it for me; I can’t bring in myself to support her anymore.
On that note, the CC was bad, imo, but Albus and Scorpius make me soft. But that’s it, I didn’t like it and I would not have given it a second thought if it wasn’t for Albus and Scorpius.
And I don’t really think that it is an unpopular opinion, given all the things JKR has done.
Who knows though with the internet and Harry Potter!:’)
I honestly just think that the story is done and doesn’t need expanding on if that makes sense? She signed off on Cursed Child and the direction that went was just meh.
Obviously LOVE Scorp and Al (Fandon btw not CC version lol. The fandom has made them cool and ya know I love soft Slytherin boys)
I just don’t really think anything passed that is anything but a money grab. I rather be okay with the content we have currently and the amazing creators, fanfiction writers, and members of fandom that expand on the Harry Potter universe! IMO they do a better job than the professionals at this point! And for free! They make all this great content for FREE! Bless their souls. They keep the fandom alive.
I don’t think a sequel could ever work, and cursed child was always going to be bad, because Harry Potter has a genre attached to it, having a sequel just about like.. their social lives would be weird there has to be some “fighting for your life” themes in there. The problem is that with Voldemort gone any attempts to bring about a similar conflict is going to clunky and weird, as well as unwanted; the whole point of the main characters fighting their whole lives the way they did was so future generations didn’t live through that. Of course its unrealistic that nothing bad happens to anyone ever again, but the idea of their kids going through similar things they did is a problem for most fans.
Other than what you said about JKR, I don’t think a remake of the films would be so bad, but I simply don’t think its been long enough yet.
Unless Daniel Radcliffe gets to be James Potter like he wants and JKR has no involvement somehow (not gonna happen. Bummer.) they can do what ever they want. I genuinely don’t care I guess? Like I’ll be the old person just rewatching the old movies 😂
Bc fandom is wild as heck I just have not considered a lot of “canon” things canon anymore w CC. I like fandom’s ideas better anyways about more than 60% of HP 🤠
I want to live by myself when I move out of my parent's place but I'm really afraid of money problems? I'm afraid that the only place I can afford will be in the ghetto and it'll all be torn apart and I'll only be allowed to eat one granola bar a week. I'm really stressing out about this. I don't know anything about after school life. I don't know anything about paying bills or how to buy an apartment and it's really scaring me. is there anything you know that can help me?

Once you’ve looked over all those cool links, I have some general advice for you on how you can have some sort of support system going for you:
Reasons to move out of home
You may decide to leave home for many different reasons, including:
- wishing to live independently
- location difficulties – for example, the need to move closer to university
- conflict with your parents
- being asked to leave by your parents.
Issues to consider when moving out of home
It’s common to be a little unsure when you make a decision like leaving home. You may choose to move, but find that you face problems you didn’t anticipate, such as:
- Unreadiness – you may find you are not quite ready to handle all the responsibilities.
- Money worries – bills including rent, utilities like gas and electricity and the cost of groceries may catch you by surprise, especially if you are used to your parents providing for everything. Debt may become an issue.
- Flatmate problems – issues such as paying bills on time, sharing housework equally, friends who never pay board, but stay anyway, and lifestyle incompatibilities (such as a non-drug-user flatting with a drug user) may result in hostilities and arguments.
Your parents may be worried
Think about how your parents may be feeling and talk with them if they are worried about you. Most parents want their children to be happy and independent, but they might be concerned about a lot of different things. For example:
- They may worry that you are not ready.
- They may be sad because they will miss you.
- They may think you shouldn’t leave home until you are married or have bought a house.
- They may be concerned about the people you have chosen to live with.
Reassure your parents that you will keep in touch and visit regularly. Try to leave on a positive note. Hopefully, they are happy about your plans and support your decision.
Tips for a successful move
Tips include:
- Don’t make a rash decision – consider the situation carefully. Are you ready to live independently? Do you make enough money to support yourself? Are you moving out for the right reasons?
- Draw up a realistic budget – don’t forget to include ‘hidden’ expenses such as the property’s security deposit or bond (usually four weeks’ rent), connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.
- Communicate – avoid misunderstandings, hostilities and arguments by talking openly and respectfully about your concerns with flatmates and parents. Make sure you’re open to their point of view too – getting along is a two-way street.
- Keep in touch – talk to your parents about regular home visits: for example, having Sunday night dinner together every week.
- Work out acceptable behaviour – if your parents don’t like your flatmate(s), find out why. It is usually the behaviour rather than the person that causes offence (for example, swearing or smoking). Out of respect for your parents, ask your flatmate(s) to be on their best behaviour when your parents visit and do the same for them.
- Ask for help – if things are becoming difficult, don’t be too proud to ask your parents for help. They have a lot of life experience.
If your family home does not provide support
Not everyone who leaves home can return home or ask their parents for help in times of trouble. If you have been thrown out of home or left home to escape abuse or conflict, you may be too young or unprepared to cope.
If you are a fostered child, you will have to leave the state-care system when you turn 18, but you may not be ready to make the sudden transition to independence.
If you need support, help is available from a range of community and government organisations. Assistance includes emergency accommodation and food vouchers. If you can’t call your parents or foster parents, call one of the associations below for information, advice and assistance.
Where to get help
- Your doctor
- Kids Helpline Tel. 1800 55 1800
- Lifeline Tel. 13 11 44
- Home Ground Services Tel. 1800 048 325
- Relationships Australia Tel. 1300 364 277
- Centrelink Crisis or Special Help Tel. 13 28 50
- Tenants Union of Victoria Tel. (03) 9416 2577
Things to remember
- Try to solve any problems before you leave home. Don’t leave because of a fight or other family difficulty if you can possibly avoid it.
- Draw up a realistic budget that includes ‘hidden’ expenses, such as bond, connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.
- Remember that you can get help from a range of community and government organizations.
