Realized I didn’t post these even tho it’s been literally a week since I made them. A few breeds of Monferno to satisfy my obsession with pokemon breeds in general. Not perfect cause I did it all in one night but it sure was fun!

Thrummed mittens! (Technically a WIP Wednesday because I'm still weaving in ends :P)
If you haven't heard of thrumming before, it's a knitting technique where you add in pieces of un-spun wool roving as you knit, which creates a super warm and fluffy layer inside your mittens (or hat or slippers or whatever). This picture shows one mitten normally and one turned inside out so you can see the fluff. The lovely green yarn and (most of the) roving is an alpaca/ wool blend from Good Karma Farm, which I bought at a local fiber fair. The pattern is "Easy Mittens With Thrums" by Debi Wilbur.
I somehow managed to finish this project of mine that I started a while ago, and honestly.. I’m pretty satisfied, not gonna lie. I don’t think it could’ve turned out more like the way I imagined it. So yeah for those who haven’t noticed, that’s every fire-type pokemon from the first generation. My personal favorite is Magmar lol (swipe for closeups)
