I wish people would stop complaining about the lack of digitized records and think about how expensive it is to digitize archives. How much work, planning, time, and MONEY it takes for cultural institutions to make resources accessible by staff who are already overworked and criminally underpaid.
Idk, donate to your local/state archives. Volunteer to transcribe for the LOC (or any other cultural institution!!). Thank an archivist.
