Gonna be liveblogging a hardcore Nuzlocke of White 2.
My ruleset is as follows
-If a Pokémon faints, it is dead and must be boxed
-I can only catch the first Pokémon I encounter in each area
-Hidden Grottoes are considered part of the area you find them in. I.e. Skill Link Minccino would be considered a Route 5 encounter
-Cobalion and Virizion are considered valid encounters. However, they are subject to the same rules as all other possible encounters
-If I have already caught a Pokémon in the evolutionary line of that is found in an area, then I can ignore that encounter. I cannot have two Pokémon of the same evolutionary line alive at the same time
-any Shinies ignore all encounter rules, on the grounds that I only have a 1/8192 chance of getting one
-My Pokémon must have the same relative level as the next major boss or lower (meaning that my Pokémon must have the same level as my opponent-in normal mode-with an ace with the same level gap between it and the rest of the party as the boss’. If I have more Pokémon, I have to lower the level cap, and if I have fewer, the level cap is higher)
-No items in battle
-Set mode
-Challenge Mode
