how tf do people get skinny legs

I spent three weeks in a mental hospital and what I discovered there I feel like should be put into words.

we are not who you think we are.

the boy with turrets told the funniest jokes

the girl who raked her nails up and down her skin could create the most exquisite drawings

the girl who abused drugs had the wisest soul

the boy with schizophrenia had the biggest heart

the girl who tried to kill herself told the boy with insomnia stories to help lure him to sleep

the boy who wanted to kill himself had the deepest passion for cooking

the girl with slits and scars all over her body dried my tears and told me I was beautiful

the boy with anger issues gave the warmest hugs

the girl with bulimia told everyone every day that they looked beautiful in their bodies

the boy who was a compulsive liar told us that he wanted us all to get better, and that he was for once telling the truth

the girl who almost drank herself to death stood up for anyone that felt they were feeling bullied

the boy with social anxiety made sure nobody sat alone at meals

we are not who you think we are.

This is so important! When I was at the mental hospital I met some amazing people. Every day we laughed together, smiled, lifted each other up no matter what and encouraged each other.

We are not who you think we are. We are some of the strongest, bravest, most loving, creative people you will ever meet.

Same! Was in a mental hospital too and ppl are amazing.

He said “do you love me?”
I said “only partly, i only love the number on the scale going down and feeling dizzy, I’m sorry”

Which Vitamins?

There are a lot of recommendations for which type of vitamin you’re meant to take for health and weight loss but it gets quite confusing. Here’s my summary!

Most Important:

Vitamin A: teeth, bones, skin, immune system, vision, internal organs.

Vitamin B6: boosts metabolism, nerves, liver, skin, eyes, energy.

Vitamin B12: metabolism, energy, reduces stress.

Vitamin C: protects cells, skin, blood vessels, cartilage, wound-healing.

Vitamin D: helps absorb calcium and phosphate = bones, teeth and muscles.

Vitamin E: skin, eyes, immune system.

Vitamin K: blood clotting (wound-healing), bones.

Less Important:

Vitamin B1 (Thiamin): metabolism, nervous system, heart function.

Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin): skin, eyes, metabolism, nervous system.

Vitamin B3 (Niacin): metabolism, skin, nervous system, lower cholesterol.

Vitamin B4 (Adenine): tissue formation, immune system, antioxidant.

Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid): metabolism, hormones.

Vitamin B7 (Biotin): metabolism, hormones.

Vitamin B9 (Folic Acid): tissue growth, cell function, red blood cells.

Tips for losing a little extra weight

1. Stop eating after 8 pm. It allows your body to burn more fat while you sleep and puts it on a regular schedule that boosts your metabolism.

2. Sit up straighter! Good posture burns a calories while you sit and makes you look more put together no matter what your weight is.

3. Wear thin pajamas and you’re cold when you go to sleep. This will help you burn more calories as your body tries to maintain its temperature. This is hard in the winter, so instead try sleeping wearing a thin long sleeve top and some slightly shorter pants.

4. Have little performances in the shower! Sing, dance, and twist that bod! In the hot water, this little work out makes a big difference! (Be careful not to fall!)
