I caught a whim and wanted to do more faces, so I made @claroquequiza an offer: Any dialogue bit between any 2 characters as long as it fit within 2 panels. He gave me a super drunk McCree in need of some assistance – apparently something that’ll happen at some point in Afterdrop. I didn’t ask for too much context so plenty of these details might be wrong, (like he might not be on the ground for all I know) but it’s just what popped into mind when I read the exchange.
Hanzo: *internally* Well. At least he probably won’t start slapping at my face as soon as I pick him up. Probably.

I’ll still be here, but my presence will be minimal until Tumblr and/or Apple and/or Congress, depending on who is truly behind this debacle, renage or drastically improve the situation.

I don’t really have the energy or the interest to keep up with multiple social media platforms–Tumblr has been my sole platform partially for that reason. I’m reluctant to say that I’m totally leaving because Tumblr has been a near-daily part of my life since 2012, but the only reason to stay would be for the content creators, and I feel like it would be worse to stay and watch how Tumblr further mistreats them.
I also don’t want to support Tumblr’s policies since they’re so hackneyed and harmful, so I’d like to contribute as little traffic as possible.
So to be honest, for all practical purposes, I will leave Tumblr. I may come back for some minimal interactions, such as chapter updates and the like, but even that may not be welcome here, so we’ll have to see.

The Stages of Grief
Hi everybody.
@vgstims sent me this crying statue gif this morning and it hit me hard. I suddenly realized that I was in grief, dealing with the death of Tumblr as I knew it for over 4 years.
I never realized just how powerful an online community can be and to see it die is very tough to experience.
I just thought I’d share this with my followers, which believe it or not, is a little short of 50,000 on Tumblr, at 49,516.
The goal of my blog, as a fighter, was to bring the fight gym to Tumblr, to make it as real as possible for my followers, to have them experience virtually what a fight gym would feel like and what Manliness means.
I hope that I did that for all of of you!
As I said previously, I’ll continue to post until Tumblr takes me down, fight to the end!

FYI, this applies to talc & talc-based powders / body products in general— J&J knew about this for decades because talc & asbestos occur together naturally (the minerals literally grow together in nature, have similar compositions, and are / were mined together), and they’re difficult to cleanly filter out from each other.
It’s old knowledge that, unless you’re involved in mining, mineralogy, or occupational health & safety, has been deliberately buried from both the public’s and regulators’ knowledge.
CNBC’s article + their writeup on the Reuters report revealing J&J’s cover-ups go into more detail on their corporate liability and the impact of J&J’s products specifically…
…But I cannot overstate that people’s best option right now is to look for products in general that do not contain talc at all, regardless of the manufacturer, and to be vigilant in seeking appropriate healthcare (and/or legal action if required) if symptoms arise.
This goes for body use (diaper powder, chafing powder— this is where the cases of ovarian cancer are coming from), for any use where powder may be inhaled (hair, face), or will have prolonged exposure to mucus membranes (eye makeup, bath bombs, etc.).
J&J are not the only ones who have covered this data up, and companies that aren’t sued will absolutely continue to do so. Be safe & be vigilant.

Hungary’s far-right, xenophobic government rose to power by exploiting racism and economic anxiety, just like Trump – and just like Trump, they’ve pursued an agenda that uses performative racist cruelty to distract people while they enact policies that make the rich much richer, at everyone else’s expense.
The latest of these policies is the so-called “slave labour law,” which allows employers to force workers to work up to 400 hours of overtime per year, and to defer payment for this overtime by three years.
Police gassed protesters outside the parliament where this bill was being voted on, but even so, the speaker of the house wasn’t able to reach the podium and had to call the vote from the floor. The Hungarian autocrat Viktor Orban won the vote, and the slave labour law is proceeding, as is another measure to replace the courts with “administrative judges,” appointed by the president’s justice minister, and operating without judicial oversight, for many proceedings.
