My cosplay of the Villainous Nights character Andi Kim from Voltage’s Lovestruck visual novel game. Villainous Nights is about a group of vigilante heroes in San Francisco with super powers who fight for justice against corrupt corporations.

I appreciate how the story deals with issues such as social media pressure, online harassment, and corrupt corporations. Plus, Andi’s dialogue/voice and texting style is awesome. Her route definitely deserves more credit and appreciation for what it is. This fan made project is a tribute to her character and story.

This is my last cosplay photo set post. I enjoyed making both costumes and posing for both characters, was a really fun experience!

Love & Legends MC Cosplay [ Part 1 ] [ Part 2 ]

Imagine Amara's final season

It's just been revealed publically that MC is the lost princess and she now has to take the throne. But everyone, especially MC, wonders: when she finally is crowned what happens to Amara? She's certainly lived well past a human lifespan and once her curse is broken what happens to her body?

But MC can't be selfish, because they've already been without stable leadership for too long and the long winter needs to end. Amara would be the first one to say that with duty comes sacrifice and besides, she's lived more than her fair share of a lifetime.

So all through the coronation MC is trying to concentrate on what she needs to do, but she keeps frantically glancing at Amara, trying not to panic as the final moment comes closer and she's announced as queen.

And then she is.

And nothing happens.

And it's all she can do not to weep in front of everyone, but she certainly does that night in Amara's arms as she realizes everythings going to work out just fine.

Until two days later Amara wakes up with a head full of greys and whites and far more wrinkles than she went to bed with. And that's when they both realize that her years are catching up to her very, very quickly.

And, well, even in a world full of magic you can't (and shouldn't) stop death from coming.

They have a week together, where MC tries to fit in all the love and romance, the flowers and notes and shy kisses she can. She tries to fit in the lifetime she had hoped she would have with her wife and every night Amara goes to bed with a smile, grateful that she was granted far more than expected in her long-awaited redemption.

And then, on the seventh day, Amara wakes feeling much like her old self, no aches or arthritic pangs that had suddenly plagued her the past few days. She looks up to see a young woman standing a few feet away and though she looks rather ordinary, Amara knows her on sight.

"You have kept me waiting."

"I'm afraid most of it was out of my hands, my lady."

Death smiles and holds out her hand. "Ah well, better late than never."

Amara looks back and sees MC cuddling her now lifeless form, still asleep and blessedly ignorant.

"She will be all right," Death said, answering the question she was afraid to speak. "She will grieve for a time, but her heart is strong and she will not be broken by this."

"Death can see the future?"

She let out a short laugh, though her eyes were melancholy. "Death can see patterns. I have seen enough like her to know she will mourn, but learn to carry your memory without pain, just as you learned to carry your loved ones' memories. And besides," she said, "you are not separated forever. You will see each other again." Death holds out her hand again. "Come, there are many who have missed you."

With a final glance back at her wife, who was beginning to stir, Amara takes her hand. Together, they step into the afterlife, where she is greeted by the friends and family she lost decades ago.

And Death is right, as Death usually is. MC grieves for a time, but eventually the grief is manageable and she can remember the time she had with her wife fondly, sometimes even with a smile on her face. She becomes, like her mothers before her, a beloved Queen, one that never forgets who she was before she became royalty.

And at the end of her life, she is greeted by a young woman holding out her hand and knows that this is Death.

"Come, your Majesty. There is someone who has been missing you."
