I have this habit of chasing the person I used to be, the person before the pain, the person before the lessons, the experience the person I was before I met you. And I realised I was chasing a ghost, I can’t be the person I once was no matter how much I loved being who I was in those moments because she has evolved, changed and shaped. The only thing I can do is learn to become who I am after the fact, each moment teaches you to become who you’re supposed to be when you’re supposed to be it. I may miss who I once was but in time I may get to know who I am now and possibly fall in love with who I’m supposed to be today.
