okay hopefully this is one of my last posts like this!! 🥳🎉 the community center is finding housing placement for me and there is even a mental health group that i am going to attend tomorrow, but i’m supposed to check out of the room im staying in by tomorrow morning. just need some funds to book one more night here so i can have somewhere to keep my bags while i go over to the community center tomorrow and figure out where i’m going to be hopefully. thank you guys so much for the support, anything anyone has to give will be enough. i think i need probably another $60 and with the last of my cash that should be enough for one more night. like i said, anything helps <3 and i just need to book by tonight i think and i should be okay. im figuring this out, slowly but surely and every bit of support helps

hi there! i am a disabled & lgbt afro-indigenous (lightskinned) person who has been dealing with housing instability for my entire adult life due to both my disability and having abusive family. after a month houseless, i was able to find a new, safer living situation.

but now february rent is due ($640), as well as utilities ($100ish), and i still owe my roommate $320 for the security deposit they covered. it is so stressful and not helping my flagging physical health at ALL so i really could use help!

Yana is currently doing a 3 month intensive outpatient program while figuring out how to pay for the residency since it’s $36K and they don't accept their insurance

They have fibromyalgia and are only medically cleared to work 2 days a week. They got fired because they couldn't keep working every day during flare ups (since their high school coworkers never showed up)

And instead of firing their coworkers, they fired Yana because they're disabled, even though they've been doing the hardest work despite being disabled and needing a literal walker at times

If you’re worried about child genital mutilation- don’t focus on trans kids. They aren’t having surgery on their genitals. You know which infants, toddlers, and children are having genital surgery? Intersex children born with “abnormal” genitalia. If you’re against genital surgery on a child you should be against that too.
