Sweet As Honeysuckle When You Want A Pocketknife

@cigaledebois

I’m a lesbian and I’ve been on this website since 2009. I have no control over when this becomes a Taylor Swift blog.

Holy shit this giant Himalayan “noble rhubarb” makes its own “greenhouse?!” the pale translucent leaves create an insulated sealed environment kept hot by the sun, and also its pollinators are fungus gnats that “parasitize” its own seeds almost like fig wasps!? wtf are any plants doing how are there just these guys around sometimes

Funny to me to think about the whole "oh you say you don't like <insert website> but you'll gladly reblog content FROM <insert website>" as like... trade exports between nations that all a little bit don't like each other.

"Come try these grapes. They're from Tiktok." "OH Tiktok? Wonderful. They grow the best grapes. We just don't have the right terrain for them here." "I agree. Lovely grapes. Wretched country though, I'd never live there." "Oh me neither. They cancel their peasants in the town square. Speaking of, have you seen the new textiles boypussydilf is selling in the town square? Imported from Instagram!" "Oh amazing textiles, Instagram has. Wretched country though." "Absolutely wretched."

Say what you will about lousiana I love that I can take my cocktail to geaux if it’s too strong to finish before running errands

Happy pride we went to my gay ass church now we’re at brunch

Pride 2022 02/30: Sally Ride

In 1983, Sally Ride became the first US woman to go to space and to the best of our knowledge, the first queer woman in space. Sally was chosen for the space flight because of her expertise with the shuttle’s robotic arm which lifted satellites into orbit. She described her experience as “the most fun I’ll ever have in my life”.

After leaving NASA, Sally wrote science books for children alongside her partner, science educator Tam O’Shaughnessy. Sally came out publicly for the first time in her obituary. In 2013, she was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Barack Obama, which Tam accepted on her behalf.
