companies underestimate how much locking their content behind needing an account will just make me go do something else. oh your website wants me to make an account to view this content? oh your website doesn't show media to logged-out users? okay. i didn't actually want to see it that bad. yeah. bye ✌️

you know what’s a trope that never gets tired is when theyre bouncing around in the plot and suddenly an important name crops up- it’s blorbo bleebus. and some dude is like who the hell is blorbo bleebus. and we immediately cut to our new friend blorbo bleebus pulling the most absolutely buckwild shit you’ve ever seen

enhanced edition of this trope is when they cut to blorbo bleebus doing something entirely contradictory to how they were just introduced, like “i know a professional, someone discreet who can handle things quietly” cut to blorbo bleebus in the wildest fucking bar brawl you’ve ever seen, screaming their own name and stopping to down shots while still holding some dude in a headlock

We need a Dracula movie where they do this with Van Helsing.

Someone on Tumblr pointed out that June 30 is like the fifth time in a row Jonathan has dramatically said goodbye to everyone and especially Mina and this is true and kinda funny when viewed from that perspective, but also…

Rereading/listening to Dracula Daily this year, I was surprised to clock his first goodbye on Day 2. He’s been terrified for a long time, friends. A long time. He didn’t know what would happen on Day 2 and so he said his goodbyes. But somehow he kept living and so naturally he kept writing which meant he had to keep saying goodbye. Because he didn’t know what was coming for him, but he did know that if Mina ever found his words he needed her to know that no matter how bad things got, she was ALWAYS the most important thing to him. It’s a reminder to both Mina later and Jonathan in the moment that he never lost himself so much she wasn’t his North Star. And I think that’s really heartbreaking and really beautiful all at once.

And kudos to Ben Galpin and @re-dracula for nailing it every single time.
