I Love You ?
Something small snaps inside me,
That word, that phrase,
How utterly dull.
Three words, five vowels,
But yet no definition of it's meaning.
How do you say it and mean it?
How can one know it's true,
Do we wait for them to define its meaning,
To state its purpose.
Should we all just guess,
Just hope.
Just so it can cut deeper and scar an already wounded heart.
I feel like most no longer think before they speak.
Blurting utter nonsense into the abis.
The word you may be thinking may be different to mine.
So let's define a broken heart,
A shattered soul,
A tainted body,
A fragile mind.
The word,
The phrase,
The one we eventually crave.
That always scatters inside ones brain..
