Hello everyone! Hope you're all doing well!

As I'm sure you know, the holidays are on the way, and I am still without a proper job and doing my best to make ends-meet as a self-employed artist.

Things have been going okay so far on this front, but obviously, money is tight, and while things are manageable, I don't have much else to spend. Since getting laid off from my job in March, this'll be the first year that I'll be unable to really buy anything for my family and friends in the way of gifts.

My family and friends understand, and they aren't expecting much, but that's so hard for me to swallow, I want to try to at least earn some money so I can get them something. Even if what everyone gets is relatively small.

So! I set a goal to hopefully hit by mid-January (my family won't be able to get together until then, so I have extra time!) to get them some gifts for the holidays! If you'd like to help out, consider commissioning me, tipping, or ordering something from the shop! Thank you!⛄

please help with my medical costs

Hi everyone! I don't usually make posts here, but I need some help.

I have some medical issues. Ranging anywhere between some mild discomfort to searing pain, but debilitating nonetheless. I've been seeing doctors and receiving medical care for about a year for these issues, with increasingly worse conditions. I have PCOS that required me to switch medications and get a tubal litigation. 

I have a family history of colon cancer; my grandfather died of stage 4 colon cancer at 46 years old, less than a year after his diagnosis, which I've only been recently informed of after I began to show symptoms. My family member has polyps that she had removed at 23, which is the age I am currently, so I've been recommended for a colonoscopy by my current doctor.

Today, Aug 3rd, 2023, I was taken to the ER by a friend after I began to have severe chest and abdominal pain and nausea. I was diagnosed with Biliary Dyskinesia following a HIDA scan. The doctor says that my Gall Bladder is functioning below the acceptable 35% threshold, and while it is not life-threatening at the moment, I will have to look into getting gallbladder removal surgery in the very near future.

This will require me to take time off work, and while I already have some medical debt to my name, will dig me deeper into the hole I've already found myself in. I'm not the type to like asking for help, but I've reached a point where I can't ignore it anymore.
