Non-reddit person here. I am confused as to why reddit is getting referred to as 196, would you mind explaining?
Im sorry if people are confusing you. 196 is not reddit. r/196 is a community that started on reddit. r/196 is a subreddit known for being very left leaning and LGBT friendly. 196 has gone offline indefinitely because of recent decisions at reddit and therefore many 196 users are going to tumblr.
People are who trying to be supportive of the 196 community but are not in 196 are causing some confusion because they are referring to 196 users as "redditors", which while true, suggests that redditors are migrating to tumblr, which is not really true. It's really just 196 users that are migrating to tumblr, not all redditors, because most reddit communities did not go offline permanently.

if you don't know where to go, just wander! go to the store and don't buy anything, go to the library just to sit and do whatever you were going to do at home, go to a park and just walk around/sit outside for a bit (weather permitting, of course)
just put some headphones in and walk around the block a couple times if you really have nothing else to do, just getting a bit of air and change of scenery is so good for you
me the first few weeks of forcing myself to go on daily walks (it gets better tho)

As someone with a service dog, he too has alerted to others. I had a class once in college and he kept alerting to a girl in my group. I asked if she had any health problems and she said, “no, not really? I Just get migraines sometimes.” I immediately said, “you’re going to get one soon, then.” Sure enough, by the end of class this girl said she was going to go back to her dorm because she was feeling sick, from a new migraine. What’s hilarious is that he’s not even primarily tasked for migraine detection —I don’t get them all that often. But I’ve seen several similar stories in the SD world and it always makes me smirk. Dogs really do know us better than we know ourselves.
