Yusei/Aki and Yusaku/Aoi would go on double dates if they're a friend group.

Aki and Aoi especially would just along really well, they also bond over how clueless Yusei and Yusaku could be sometimes despite how smart they are. Yusei and Yusaku are suspicious when Aki and Aoi are whispering and then they giggle lock eyes with their boys.

No but when Yusei's hair started growing out when he was a baby, was she just like ?? "What do I do with this?" How do you maintain or comb this kids wacky crab leg hair

It probably didn't stick out as much as it did when he shown as a kid. But it's a nightmare

Bath time with Yusei must've been interesting. Like it doesn't need a combing or anything. It just dries on its own like that. If Martha towel dries Yusei's hair, it just reverts to its ultimate crabby form.

✊🏽 Protecting

Danger lurked around every corner of link vrains, lately there was a group of duelists trapping the souls of users into cards that left the duelists not only unable to leave link vrains but also left their real bodies unconscious out in the real world. Yusaku, or Playmaker rather had to put a stop to this attack.

From a top of the tall building, Playmaker watched as a group of duelists in unfamiliar uniforms on their d-boards chased after a kid running on foot. From his view, all Playmaker could see was purple and pink hair and a purple cape billowing behind the kid as he ran into an alley. Playmaker knew his way around this area of link vrains and knew well that path lead to a dead end. The kid was now trapped and the duelists chased after him in dark alley, Playmaker couldn't stand back and do nothing. He stepped up on the edge of the building and jumped down, his d-board appearing under his feet and he dived down towards where the younger boy disappeared.

Backed against the wall, Yuri was outnumbered 1 to 5, the members of the obelisk force that went rouge and ignored their mission had turned on him and wanted to card him rather than listen to his orders. Fools, Yuri thought to himself with but feigned fear and weakness to play along with their little game. Yuri could make these losers feel pain and regret easily, but he could enjoy himself and play victim if they wanted to treat him like one. With fake hesitation, Yuri raised his arm and fake a fearful expression. The obelisk force were idiot, and they all smirked confidently like they could actually beat Yuri. Maybe he should just stop acting and card them already, but where was the fun in that?

Yuri's parted, he was about to initiate the duel, but then an unfamiliar face appeared ahead of him. Confidence and anger burned into this strangers green eyes, Yuri peaked around this stranger who's d-board vanished from under his feet so he stood on the ground. Yuri pouted, why is he ruining his fun?

Playmaker looked down and offered Yuri a smile.

"Don't worry, i'll get ride of them quickly. There are people that need to be turned back to normal." Playmaker spoke confidently, he could let the people who were turned into cards be unconscious any longer. People were worried and scared to go into link vrains.

"Hmph, fine...I hope you at least make things interesting." Yuri said with a pout and stood back.

He didn't actually need any protecting, but Yuri liked that fire burning in this strangers eyes. He seemed exciting, if Playmaker dueled well...Yuri will challenge him next.

It was summer vacation, Yusaku and Aoi were spending their Saturday out on a date. Yusaku had asked Kusanagi for the day off on a whim a couple days prior and suggested he and Aoi should walk around Den city's shopping district together. Aoi looked so happy Yusaku asked her on the date, but she looked even more happy and beautiful walking alongside next to him.

Aoi was wearing a beautiful light blue dress, and a blue flower hair accessory Yusaku had bought her a few weeks ago. Yusaku couldn't take his eyes off of her, his green eyes sparkled lovingly as he watched Aoi looking all around them and exactingly pointing out the little shops and people selling things off the street.

As they walked through the crowded street, Yusaku felt grativated towards his girlfriend and stepped a little closer, as if trying to find comfort in somewhere familar around so many strangers. But when he did this, their hands brushed together. Yusaku blushed and looked away shyly and attempted to put his hands in his pockets.

"Sorry..." Yusaku spoke quietly in apology.

Aoi giggled and looked to Yusaku with a blush dusting her cheeks as she smiled and reached out to take his hand.

Yusaku looked back to Aoi in surprise, but relaxed quickly at the loving smile on Aoi's lips. Yusaku interlocked his fingers with Aoi's and they held hands the whole shopping date.

Ryoken gets up at ungodly hours and is in charge of waking up Yusaku in the morning. Otherwise Yusaku would just stay in bed and not go to class.

Except the one day when Yusaku gets up early because he just cannot sleep and notices Ryoken is actually sleeping in for once. Yusaku wanted to leave him be and let him sleep, but he knew Ryoken had things to do. Selfishly, Yusaku let Ryoken sleep just for a few minutes more because he was admiring his roommates cute sleeping face and those beautiful eyelashes.

Things get really cute but really awkward because Ryoken stirs and he opens his eyes slowly, he sleepily looks up at Yusaku and he smirks.

"Good morning, Yusaku." Ryoken's deep voice is extra attractive when he sounds so tired.

Yusaku blushes and looks away embarrassed.

Datastorm brainrot hours.

Them but it's a underclassman/upperclassmen roommates at school. It's a prestigious school with dorms. Yusaku is there because he's a genius on a scholarship, and Ryoken is his older roommate who also happens to be the student council president. They get along well and Yusaku has a major crush, which he's never had on anyone before. He's awkward and the situation is awkward, but he can't help his feelings. Ryoken is always spoken of the be harsh and scary, but he's nice to Yusaku.

They often just chat and study together in the dorm.

Yusaku once turns to his best friend for advice over his feelings. Takeru is conflicted because while he's supportive and wants Yusaku to be happy, he thinks Ryoken is secretly the devil.

Little does Yusaku know, Ryoken also harbors feelings for his roommate but doesn't know what to do with them.

There's so much pining.
