The annoying and toxic romance existing in Harry Potter.

Was romance necessary for Harry Potter? Is there a good love structure? It absolutely wasn't.

It doesn't matter how they want to hide this. Jkr may be "good" at writing adventures (and I put it in quotes because her development is also vague in that sense), but if we talk about love, she's terribly bad, not even passable. There is no partner in Harry Potter that is not questionable and you wonder, was this necessary? Isn't it forced? what did I just read? Seriously, did the author just claim that Ginny, since she was 10 years old, had intended to marry Harry Potter at all costs? what the hell? This isn't cute, it's weird.

The author has a clear fixation for making toxic and obsessive romances to paint them as healthy and exemplary.

OMG. Let's talk about Ron and Hermione.

They are so annoying that they make the main theme of adventure and tragedy take a back seat. From a conflictive and exhausting relationship between two "friends" like Hermione and Ron, where apparently insults and machismo are its main basis, from the Goblet of Fire unfortunately we know that jkr has an unhealthy inclination to match them.

Hermione and Ron are just one more example of the kind of romance he likes to flaunt and sell. A less aggressive but just as annoying romance is Harry's, Ginny a girl obsessed with him, Harry begins to notice when he hypersexualizes her, and they end up marrying before thirty and having children with horrible names.

The secondary romances do not leave a good atmosphere either. Remus is 13 years older than Tonks, Andromeda was still studying at Hogwarts when Remus entered. jkr thought it best to pair these two up and give Tonks the spotlight not because of her rare and priceless shape-shifting power, but because she married a werewolf (not a feminist move on her part). Jkr did not prefer to accept the history that she herself established between Sirius and Remus. And he sold us on a straight relationship about two characters who weren't straight at all. Same with Dean and Seamus.

There's also the fact that Fleur was 17 and Bill was 24, and don't say he was of legal age when they met, this is still loud. Apparently, Jkr found it strange to put Bill and Tonks together, since they were the same age and got along very well, they were both one of those few characters who did not have children at their age, and they seemed adventurous and different, they would have been a decent combination, even so Jkr found it easier to put them together with others in a questionable way.

It seemed right to him to match up the ex-girlfriend of the late Fred with his twin brother and marry them off. And speaking of which, aren't there more people outside of Hogwarts? Is it a requirement to study there that you have to form a couple and marry your partner at the end of the school year? Seriously, I know it's the 90s, but don't fuck, it's kids and everything is so ridiculously serious.

They all ended up marrying a classmate or housemate.

And those who didn't, were discarded from the plot, like Cho who got a Muggle, she could have been the best Quidditch captain of her time, but in the end the one who got the position and the recognition, was the one who married Harry Potter, and Ginny wasn't even the team captain, that was Angela and what was her end? Married to her dead ex-boyfriend's twin brother.

They all ended up marrying people who studied with them, very illogical. Aren't there more people outside the castle? It is a mystery to the reader.

Oh, and the controversial and chilling romantic relationship between Severus and Lily. That is the icing on the cake of the romantic plot of the saga.

If jkr found Snape's obsessive existence for Lily super romantic, since he couldn't have it, and since he was never honest about his feelings for her, the guy clung to his son and bullied and manipulated three other kids accordingly, as if it were. good. seeing an adult being aggressive with a couple of children. Jkr thought it was good to present that it is Lily's fault for not being nicer to Severus, being that he was a terrible friend and suitor and that he literally killed her at the end, more in the movie where Lily presented herself as a monster and not as the heroine and victim that she was. I mean, jkr mentioned that scene. Snape begs Voldemort to kill James and the baby, but Lily will still be alive wherever she is, as if he might have a chance with her after that. He is so sick.

The worst thing is that the most "passable" couples are not developed, there are no canon scenes about them, they are only confirmed and taken out of nowhere. There is no interaction between Neville and Hannah, but jkr confirms that they ended up getting married, they are one of the few couples from different houses that ended up together and didn't write anything about them. There is also Luna with the famous grandson of Newt Scamander, and nothing is known about them, nor about him in the books either. Worst of all, in Deathly Hallows, there seems to be a closer relationship between Neville and Luna, and we were all praying for something to happen, and it still didn't. Although the producers of the films found it funny to put them together and make fun of this fact.

Oh, and Draco also managed to marry a person from the same Slytherin house, and whose female character had no development either and is very different from what we would imagine Draco would end up with, unrealistic and too sweet, too much. And Pansy? Seven years of friendship and three acting as boyfriends so that in the end Jkr separates them so abruptly, the most frivolous couple in the books. Jkr is unacceptable.

All of Harry Potter's canon relationships are questionable and problematic. And every ship that has been talked about for over 20 years is so much better than the canon "romances" out there. Remusxsirius, deanxseamus, lunaxginny, and although I annoyed them, even dramione was a thousand times better, even neville was much better for hermione.

I'm not going to get tired of saying that the romantic canon of the characters is shit. It's so upsetting to see wasted potential or structure that already existed in other characters. And honestly, because of so much poorly developed crap, the romance is very plot-heavy and gets very extra, and awkward.

Hermione Granger: whitewashing.

Motherfucker how you gonna say and cover up the whole offense of hermione granger whitewashing taking screenshots of two lines of shit with famous expressions that black people also use because they are universal expressions put your brain to work black people also they blush and also when they get sick or scared they turn pale, that's a damn expression Karen and Chad don't be so silly for God's sake. Let it not be noticed how racist and bootlickers they are from jkr. Hermione Granger isn't "a role for everyone to draw" she's black and doesn't look anything like jkr why do you say she was inspired by you? You are a Caucasian woman and Hermione is not. You hyped it up, you sold it, and when it came out in the theater you put a white girl in it. I love Emma, but everyone knows it was wrong. And jkr the cursed legacy, it is a clear lack of respect that you have for the black community, you silenced us, you called us exaggerated and conspirators, but you are a racist and Hermione Granger is one of your biggest victims. You all know this, but look the other way, you are racist too.

And giving logic to this, how to cover up scenes from the first book, how to cover up what that woman did? Taking 3 lines out of context. All the teasing about Hermione's hair, the way she sacrifices and takes care of those two white kids, they called her a gorilla and turned this character into a racist objectification, they called her countless times a Mudblood, much more than all those children of muggles mentioned, and she put up with all of that, like it was normal. And you have the nerve to be upset, because black people are not only being referred to in an offensive way, but they whitewashed it for completeness, because it was nice to exoticize it in the books, but it doesn't work. on the screen? Everyone gets upset thinking that a white girl is not Hermione Granger, because it seems trite that their heroine and her crush is a black woman. And I hate you for that, and much more to you jkr. Black women deserve respect, and representation, not this.

And I don't mind the hate here, I'm tired of how everyone plays dumb, gets upset about how transphobic jkr is, but looks the other way about this woman's racism and what she did to hermione. There I see all of you looking to save jkr, and getting upset over a fanart of how you really all know Hermione Granger is. Hypocrites.

My problem with Ginny Weasley as a Harry Potter couple.

I didn't want it to sound so rude, and I also know that the strange and somewhat sexist development of this character is not his fault, but of whoever writes it, obviously. But it is a subject that we have to touch to the people who read Harry Potter. We need to talk about Ginny, and her rowdy and troublesome development, and what JKR did to her, and what some fans still do.

You see, I don't have any hatred towards Ginny, but I have several problems with her. Three big problems with that character, which I repeat, is not his fault.

I want to talk about the material in the books, since in the movies it is much worse.

I'm ... let's start with the most uncomfortable. Why does Ginny exist, what is her purpose?

You know in the first book, you love the idea of the fact that she is the only girl of six brothers, you think that obviously that girl will have an incredible impact on the plot, even in the chamber of secrets, they wanted. To understand that Ginny would be an important character for later, I say that she got directly involved with Voldemort, they made us that illusion that perhaps in the following books, she would have an important theme that relates her to that evil villain again, until she joins the trio golden when defeating him. Well, the last thing happened ... But people, it didn't happen like we thought it would happen, the background that could be worse and full of content, where Ginny had an interesting role ... natural. It turned out to be the opposite.

And Ginny's existence felt too forced. Because Ginny Weasley was only created to be the future companion of Harry Potter. It sounds horribly sexist, and we need to talk about this.

Sorry, I know Harry is the main character. But this is still not good.

Why is everything Ginny does for Harry? Folks, when Hermione fell in love with her teacher and forgot about him and got over him like all childhood crushes, it was okay. I think everyone would have liked the same thing to have happened with Ginny. BECAUSE IT IS VERY TERRORIFYING THE CRUSH THAT GINNY HAS HAD FOR HARRY THE WHOLE SAGA.

It does not fit in my head how this couple is so loved by everyone if it is so problematic. God, Ginny was nagging, analyzing, and watching Harry all of her adolescence until he finally saw her the way she wanted. You all point to Romilda for trying to charm Harry with love candy, you have called her unbearable, and crazy.

But they've been loving Ginny, who literally had boyfriends to get experience with Harry, who's been planning her whole life with him- And she wasn't going to give up. I don't understand how this can be romantic, it isn't. I don't know how JKR sold us this.

Look, Harry is the protagonist, we all expected a decent love story for him. (Although personally it would have been better, not seeing teenagers taking relationships so seriously, it's not healthy, they were still kids, they were traumatized, they have too many exams, they are in a war and they are dying witches all the time. Time, where jkr did it make sense to propose romance?

The thing here is that Ginny and Harry's romance has so many inconsistencies and it's so forced and bland, because it is, and that's so bad for a lead, which I understand as secondary and more troublesome romances like HermionexRon and TonksxRemus, even people becomes more excited about Severus and Lily's frustrated romance, even Narcissa and Lucius have more fans. The aforementioned couples are more loving and developed than Harry's with Ginny. And it is disrespectful.

Why did JKR do this?

It doesn't just bother me, how it turned Ginny into an obsessive girl who fetishizes the boy who has a sad life, and wants to get involved with him if so. But there is also the fact that Ginny, is perfect, and fulfills hormonally, socially and traumatically what Harry seeks. And that's not okay for Harry, much less Ginny.

It bothers me so much that Harry started "loving" Ginny because he started sexualizing her, I don't know how jkr found it nice to do this. Putting scenarios of Harry imagining being kissed by Ginny like he did with her boyfriend, but we barely saw a line from Harry, talking about how he liked her personality, that he wanted to ask her out. I mean, with Cho it felt a lot more natural, really if Harry fell in love with her. But Ginny from the beginning was so hormonal, that I understand how people think that Ginny used amortentia, although she didn't, we read the books but we still don't understand this. Because it doesn't make sense ...

From one book to another, Ginny is the prettiest girl at Hogwarts and everyone wants with her. Cho isn't anymore, because Harry doesn't care anymore. But out of nowhere Ginny is.

And she becomes the "pretty girl from Hogwarts" and Harry is just dating her. And Ginny is not only pretty, but she's the most popular at Hogwarts. This is incredible...

It's creepy how Ginny is physically the same as Lily, and Ginny's entire existence is noisy. Harry not only noticed the most popular girl, and beautiful, and double of his mother, and who is madly loving him- But Harry clung to the Weasleys with Ginny, because surprise! ... Ginny was the only woman of the Weasley that was left, and Harry longed to be part of that family which was perfect for him- And of course Ginny is the right thing to do?

She likes Quidditch, she is the most attractive, and popular, and she has it dangling from her hand. It is everything that Harry idealized in his dreams of glory and filling his voids. Or rather what JKR thought Harry might have.

Stop for a moment, is there not a Weasley character, with better development to be a couple of Harry and fill that void? And that character, isn't it Ron?

Yes, Ron Weasley makes more sense.

Ron lives up to a lot more expectations and has the cheesiest, sanest, gayest story with Harry, but since Jkr is homophobic, this is clearly a no.

¨So here is Ginny, it is Harry's fantasy, it is the comfort, even about to die, instead of thinking about more important things, in his family or life. He was already idealizing Ginny, because he loved her for life, because he depended on her, and they would both die for each other. And I absolutely hate this.

We absolutely hate the fact that Ginny's character is so planned that she feels so artificial around Harry. I absolutely hate that Cho's crush is more personal and natural in Harry's life. But I really HATE the fact that if Ron were a girl everyone would be pairing him up with Harry, because they have tangible material in the books. It's 2021 take this fact.

I don't hate Ginny, but I do loathe her empty existence for mediocre, calculating purposes, which makes Jkr a sexist person. I mean, I know that she and the fans have tried to raise the character of Ginny, contributing and thanking her for things that she did not do, to give her relevance and be in line with Harry. ¨

But Ginny is not representing Quidditch as female empowerment, she did not even represent her home. The representation of the sport was Angela, she is the first female captain who is spoken of and is followed by Cho. And it is very racist that everyone takes that apart from Cho and Angela, being that they are minorities. And secondly, Ginny did not make and form the Dumblurore army, she only gave the name, calm down, without Hermione that would not have existed. And Neville was primarily the one who stood up for the army at Hogwarts, and everyone generally did.

Sorry, I know it's a lot of text, but I had to get rid of the frustration this couple left me. I hope that if you read this, you will also analyze these points.

I would have liked very much to see a Ginny with an important role, other than being the fantasy and idealized girlfriend of the protagonist, if she weren't the girl in the movie. To see at least a pure romance between them- Although I still think that romance was unnecessary in the lives of those children, that Jkr hypersexualized them-

Harry needed therapy, vacations, some sleep - not a girlfriend who looked like his mother.

Why the heck does NOBODY write about Hermione and Neville as a couple? WTF?

I can't believe there are Fanfictions where almost everyone is paired in Harry Potter.

Except for Neville and Hermione, this is so hackneyed. And the excuses are worse.

They have created couples that canonically never spoke to each other, or there was a spark, a scene, an arrangement, something to overexploit the imagination and write.

I say that there is a very large ship of HarryxDaphne, being that they never spoke, (and that female character less than 2 lines) it is even more common to see an HP fic where Harry is with Pansy.

Wow, there's Astoria with Ron, and strangely he's way better than canon for those two.

I think everyone is free to write whatever they want. But why is Neville and Hermione's partner so unreal to some? If there is a lot of material in the books. Neville is literally frustrated by Hermione. It is in canon AND NOBODY WRITES ABOUT IT.

I can't believe that Hermione Granger in fanfiction is much more common to see her paired with Lucius (which I find disgusting) than to see her be Neville's couple because to some strangers they don't make sense, are you kidding me?

Hermione had a true friendship and sincere affection from Neville (although the evil jkr separated them) They took care of each other, and it really would have been nice to see them go out to the dance, and that Hermione would have ended up with a good boy like Neville.

It really is so unheard of that there are no fics of the two, it seems that the Fandom HP suffers a kind of mandela effect, or they have very strange tastes. Why does no one write about Nervimione? How the hell did they give Severus and the Sorting Hat material, and not those two?Let's take a look at this, why do Harry Potter Fanfiction writers do that? This is just ridiculous, Hermione and Neville canonically have the cheesiest straight story with material in Harry Potter. They have no forgiveness. It is such a disrespect that NO ONE writes about this. It's so damn strange. If you want to read one of these two, it is easier to find a fic where Draco is not hypersexual. As a reader, this is so depressing.

IN DEFENSE OF AMY MARCH. SHE DESERVES BETTER.

It's incredibly surprising that Little Women are over a decade old. And the world still hates Amy, for stupidly misogynistic reasons. Because they are.

Forgive them, Louisa May Alcott.

He story is supposed to be about 4 sisters who love each other faithfully, and that despite having different personalities, they are always all together. And, of course, also of the girls who face poverty and the marginalization of social classes.

And yet they have all been focused for YEARS. On how supposedly: "Amy stole the man from her sister" What the fuck?

First of all, did you read the books or trust the movies that have completely twisted history to spoil it and turn it into a show where two sisters fight for the love of the same man? What is garbage. And spoiler: Louisa May Alcott, didn't write that shit, Hollywood cheated on you.

I want us to remember that Jo tried to match Laurie with ALL of his sisters. You read that right, she never, never loved him. And 2021, accept that Laurie did not love Jo either.

It all felt more like a whim, and a lot heteronormative on the part of the public, who couldn't accept that Jo wanted Laurie as a friend, and vice versa. And all of you are frustrated by poor Amy.

Jo adored Amy, even though he burned her book. But a lot of people have demonized that 12-year-old for that, it didn't even take Jo a month to forgive and forget. Why not you?

Amy's hatred is divided into three bases: For Jo and Laurie. And that Amy is feminine, and loves being so and defends being so. And because the girl was the only one of the three sisters who had her feet on the ground.

About Jo and Laurie. He was dead before we started. Joe not only wanted to marry Laurie to one of his sisters and make him his official brother, as he liked him as a friend. Laurie, who was supposed to only love Jo, not only flirted with his other sisters, in the second book we are shown a summary that the boy is in love with almost all the pretty women who approach him in his school. Did you forget that detail when you defended this union so much?

You forget that it was Laurie, the one who constantly flirted with others, the one who flirted with Amy who had known her since she was a child, the one who was flourishing and was already marking territory regarding her in an "innocent" way. The one who came back to look for her and catch her in Amy's most vulnerable moment when she passed the pain of Beth's death. It was Laurie who perceived and caught Amy in a vulgar way, because according to her words. "Amy was a version of Jo, but feminine" Which, it's true.

And this takes the second point. You all know very well that Amy March is a female version of her older sister.

Amy is a feminine woman, who embraces, loves and defends her femininity. And that's one of the reasons he's been hated and ridiculed. Apparently, people are only comfortable seeing an "empowered" woman if they hate her femininity and embrace masculinity. Because being a woman and being feminine is humiliating and weak. It is demonized. This is a misogynistic speech. You are more offended not because Amy burned that special Jo book, or got that trip, which she deserved more than any of her sisters, since she was the only one who suffered for years from the character of her cruel aunt. It was the least Amy deserved.

You guys hate Amy, because she wasn't that mini-Jo, who hates her femininity and gender so much, that she only feels good about herself if she calls herself "the man." They would be satisfied even though their unhealthy alliance didn't happen, if Amy hated herself, ended up calling herself "the man" to feel empowered, and that Laurie didn't fall in love with an Amy who dazzles with her femininity.

If Amy was like this, NO ONE had misogynically hated her for years.

Let's talk about the most incredible of this hatred. Amy was the only one of her sisters who really had her feet on the ground. That he really achieved every one of his goals, that he really helped his family.

Everyone despises that Amy has chosen as a dream to marry a rich man. What to expect that in the 1862s, being a poor woman, from a marginalized family, she would aspire to become something else. You were just looking for excuses to hate her, this is stupid.

Amy wanted to be artists, she tried since she was a child, she was and did not achieve her expectations, she chose to marry because she felt that it was the most correct idea. And it's his damn problem.

And you are all complete idiots if you hate her for it. Thanks to her, her family got respect, she stood up for everyone, sacrificed herself for her three older sisters. And no one has given him the respect he deserves.

✖Unhealthy Hypersexualization: Draco Malfoy vs Fanfiction✖

This is an official complaint to all the random Harry Potter writers who have been savagely and ruthlessly destroying the essence of Draco Malfoy. For years, and they've been hiding behind: "He's a fictional character, he's not bad."

After reading so many fanfictions of Dramione / or Draco being the protagonist as such. And, apparently it has become a general rule when writing and bringing Draco Malfoy to life, being that it is not his canon in the first place, (although they defend themselves saying that they want to make it as real as possible, and that is why they have created and reproduced this horrifying image). Second; this is twisted and much more because we are talking about a teenager, not an adult. Without exaggeration, 80% of the fanfics that you find of Draco; he's a sex symbol, despite being a minor in most of those stories. And it's not okay that they want to cover this up just because he's a fictional character. It's still noisy, and troublesome.

The first story I found (and I won't say the name of the fic, or author) had this "trope", it surprised me because I had recently finished reading the HP saga, and the image of Draco, the real personality, was still fresh. So even though it disturbed me, I continued reading for a bit and then gave it up because I was annoyed by the hackneyed badboy cliché they imposed on it. And I thought, "Well, not everyone writes about Draco Malfoy like that, I just had a weird experience, and that didn't mean that everything I would get to see about the Slytherin boy would be like this."

So ... I venture into Fanfiction, I go to Ao3, I give Wattpad a spin, I have a look on Tumblr, I even get into a lot of potterfic forums, a lot of potterfic forums and blogs. And guess what?

It turns out that in an extremely terrifying way, the fandom has turned Draco Malfoy into fanfiction; into a sex symbol, and no one is complaining or even stopping this. What the hell?

Why are all the most famous fanfictions written have this trope? When the hell was Draco Lucius Malfoy Black in the JKR books a playboy? AT THE AGE OF 16!?

Because when it comes to developing a character as deep and complex as Draco: the most interesting and complex thing they do with him is to be a mediocre womanizer, and with a very bad sexual education, very worrying and alarming. I know that in the world of HP, there is machismo, I know that in the Slytherin house they didn't even let women play Quidditch. But still, where did this come from? And why has Draco been the worst hit victim in the fanfic genre? The boy literally never had a girlfriend in Hogwarts days, or talked dirty about women. The only girl in Hogwats who was next to him was Pansy, and although they refuse to accept it; Draco was really fond of her, and he never disrespected her, he seemed rather very reciprocal.

The only character who is constantly sexualizing and speaking macho about women is Ron. But hey, that's another topic.

The real Draco, is the complete opposite of the macho that they have established in the fanfics. Draco is a boy who comes from a strict family, with retrograde ideals, what is the most daring that we have seen of him in the Harry Potter saga? That is, with Hermione in the fourth book when the Death Eaters sabotaged Quidditch and injured several children of Muggle parents; Draco told Hermione that if they saw him they would cast a spell on her and her panties would be exposed as well, hinting at an event they were witnessing with a poor woman flying through the air.

But hey ... Because of that aforementioned scene with Hermione and the "Half-Blood Prince" wagon scene where Draco has his head resting on Pansy's lap and she's stroking his hair and he looks relaxed. They have been the reasonable enough reasons of some writers to create according to the "true personality of Draco Malfoy". I'm not exaggerating, when I discussed this on Reddit, these were the "strong justifications" they gave me.

It is completely ridiculous to claim that Draco is a misogynist because he practically warned Hermione to be careful because he could see her, and they would also blow her up in the air and show her panties, why is this alarming everyone? This is literally how the woman they bewitched looked like, Harry Potter describes her like that, Draco just made a comment on that. And about Pansy, it is already very degrading that they sexualize that scene in the wagon, very personal comments were taken very out of place from Harry. (Which should be noted that Harry always had very out of place comments about other people, but that didn't mean they were good or real)

So, back to the point of the issue of sexism and objectification.

Why didn't they act equally alarmed when Harry began to view Ginny too sexually? Or when Ron used Lavender just to calm his hormones? Where were you to point out the clear objectification of the woman's body? Where were you? They clearly existed hideously in regards to Lavender and Ginny.

However, hypocrites, is Draco alone the only moral and ethical target to escrack on?

In his life Draco Malfoy verbatim according to the books, he only dated more than two girls. His Malfoy-Black family is super traditional; They come from marriages arranged from an early age. Possibly Draco was raised in the most prim way possible. And as he got older, he had more important things to do than act like a hormonal jerk. He had manners and used all his neurons.

Is it very difficult to write about Draco like this? Is that the real boy, is he not a Don Juan, or did he have a long list of exes (and why does this seem strange to you? Draco just turned 18 at the end of the saga, they need to calm down wanting to see that the teens have more partners than the average adult in the first place, that's not normal). The real Draco hardly had any friends, he was an insecure and damaged boy who hid behind that rude and immature behavior that in the end paid dearly. I don't think it is very difficult to overexploit an insecure and complicated boy with too many things and responsibilities. It didn't cost JKR that much.

Or is it that writers find it difficult to write about a man who is not macho and super heteronormative? It's sad to see how they continue to reproduce this crap, and it's very hard to see that they don't hyper-sexualize with a teenager, because they've practically turned him into a bad boy sexual fetish on Fanfics.

They've done it, they've ruined Draco Malfoy. And they are demonizing it even more.

Draco, who is a completely intelligent boy, had one of the most powerful young minds of his generation, apart from Hermione Granger; since apparently they forget that he was for the second in class with her. It has a lot of potential to write a complete saga. And no, it is not necessary to hypersexualize it to develop it. It is not necessary to write about a man who has a fragile masculinity, or who is heteronormative. Although they do not believe it.

I know Draco's character has a very, very vague development in HP, he was missing his historical arc, we all know that. And everyone is free to turn it into a story, and whatever (even if it's annoying and boring to see its canonical image spoil). The problem here is that this type of "trope" is the one that abounds, and Draco is the one that is used the most, nor does he want to use other characters, they only do what they do with Draco, they just continue to idealize him in this way. And it's already reached a point where Fanfiction is making it canon in Fandom, something JKR never wrote, but you keep reaffirming. You random writers took things out of context, made guesses without concrete material. And it seems more like a wave of people hating this guy and looking for the need to make him more dirty, and they can only cope with it by sexualizing and dehumanizing him. They know he has a story with potential, but they hate him so much that they don't want to be nice or treat him like a human.

It is time to accept it.

Because you do that? Could you stop writing like this? It is practically decent. And writing about decent men, what Draco Malfoy really is like, is what it takes; because that's what it really is. Stop apologizing that he's just a character, show how much you need to stomp on him, and keep dehumanizing him.

If you hate him, you better not write about him, you are only causing that poor boy to be killed. And rather it would be very good for you a writer, because firstly, why do you write about someone you hate?

Herville should be more famous in the hp fanfiction ship.

It's not a suggestion, it's a damn complaint, how come they never overexploited those two?

COULD SOMEONE MAKE HERMIONE AND NEVILLE VIRAL ON FANFICS AS A COUPLE? FOR THE LOVE OF SALAZAR I CANNOT BELIEVE THE SO LITTLE MATERIAL THAT EXISTS OF THEM, BEING CANONICALLY IF THERE WERE SPARKS.

how bad is the hp fandom for there to be a large community of severusxhermione, and luciusxhermione. But it is impossible to get a story of Neville with Hermione romantically, so what the hell?

she was such a beautiful and talented actress that brought to life so many iconic characters, and from what the people around her have said, she seemed like a kind and powerful soul. she made everything she was in better, and she will be missed tremendously. rest in paradise helen mccrory

jkr: DRACO DOESN'T HAVE A HEART !!!, I DON'T UNDERSTAND PEOPLE WHO LOVE HIM ???, CRAZY FANS, THEY ARE DISEASES !!, DON'T YOU SEE THAT THE BOY IS SATAN IN PERSON? IT IS BAD !!! ALL SLYTHERIN ARE BAD !!! WHY IS RON NOT RECEIVING CARE? if he's a bad husband ... but RON IS SO MUCH BETTER!
weird and troublesome fandom people: jkr preaches 👊😔
Remus: You’re just going to die on me like that?! Right after we get back together? Well you know what... FUCK YOU.
*marries your lesbian cousin*

ships that should’ve happened if jkr wasn’t a coward. mkay.

  1. DEAN AND SEAMUS
  2. LUPIN AND SIRIUS
  3. GINNY AND LUNA
  4. OLIVER AND PERCY
  5. Dumbledore and my fist

the end.

Snape: *was a fully grown adult who knew way better than to bully innocent children but did it anyways*
JKR: but let’s give him a redemption arc!!! let’s make everyone forgive him bc he loved Lily!!!
Draco: *was a child. raised to think bullying was okay. was never taught any different*
JKR: nahhh fuck that bitch, he doesn’t deserve a redemption arc. he’s the spawn of Satan.

things that are canon in the harry potter universe despite what jkr says (based on headcanons or plain fact that was ignored but still valid):

  • Snape is an abusive piece of shit that doesn’t deserve anyone’s pity
  • Harry Potter is Indian on James’ side and his name was anglicized from Hari because the Dursleys are a bit racist
  • All was not well after the Battle of Hogwarts because many people were traumatized and suffered PTSD and had to get help, which made them closer to being okay, but they were still changed
  • Dudley had a witch for a daughter and reconnected with Harry for advice
