When you're reading an epic fanfic that's so damn bloody good but then the author starts writing themselves into a corner and you're like "no no don't do that I arrrgh-... " and then the inevitable hiatus happens and you want to just throw the writer's block at the wall and destroy the fictional universe

reblogging because I think there needs to be more notes and more people comfortable with the idea that adulthood is a lie.
Adulthood requires taking on new responsibilities, both personal and social.
It has nothing to do with your hobbies, media preferences, or appreciation for cuddling little Pikachu plushies whatsoever. Adults are allowed to be happy and watch Kipo and wear candy necklaces or whatever little things bring them joy.
I don’t know why so many people think that adulthood means you have to be miserable and eschew little joys, but those people are wrong.
Being that person right on the border of millennial and gen x, spending 10 min trying to figure out which reaction I should have to this.

You are not factories. You are not engines of production. Inspiration and creativity move as the tides; they ebb and flow whether we wish them to or not. You are not obligated to pump out endless streams.
