Straight pride day? Are you fucking kidding me?

Has anyone heard absolutely nothing about the recent suicides? I’ve not once heard a thing about someone killing themselves because they’re straight. Only gay, because they’re harassed for it. The only reason we have gay pride parades in the first place is because of the people who support it. The allies. So now we need people to support the straight community? I’m sorry, but I disagree with that. No one gives a fuck if you’re straight, because it’s seen as the right way to live. Why do we need a straight pride day when we can be proud every day for being straight because it’s socially acceptable?

You can’t say that gays can be proud daily, and that they don’t need a pride day. If that were true, then we wouldn’t have the harassment and so many LGBT teens/adults feeling like something’s wrong with themselves or that they’re fucked up or not a good son/daughter/whatever on a daily basis. Straight pride day, to me, seems pointless and ignorant.

Please, tell me you have some good reasons as to why straight people absolutely need a pride day? Why you seem to think just because there’s a gay pride, straight pride needs one too? If that’s the case, then there are a lot more pride days that need to exist, which don’t.

Every fucking day is a straight pride day. You don’t have to worry about getting ridiculed for it. You don’t have to worry about being pushed to the point of suicide for it. When you finally get discriminated against for being straight, then you can have your straight pride day. And to make things clear, I’m just what the photo says. Another straight girl for gay rights. And yes, I’m against your so-called straight pride day.
