I've seen a lot of humanformers/holoforms designs for Optimus, and they're all bangers. But I propose something that I haven't seen anyone else do yet: Optimus with a cane or other mobility aid.
I mean, think about it: as I write holoforms, they're not projecting "perfect, flawless" versions of Cybertronian bodies. They're them, but as a human, which means old war injuries and wear and tear are still present. And Optimus gets thrown around, like...a lot.
I don't know. It's just a thought. But I think I kinda like it.

Yes, apparently, Optimus could be and currently was just like that. And it was horrifying. This wasn’t a fight, not anymore. It was target practice. ‘A Prime never loses.’ remarked Excalibur coolly.
Bound in full-cloth with acrylic paint details and acrylic edges. Typeset and binding done by hand, by me.
What to even say about this fic? Number one, it's fucking amazing. Number two, if you haven't read it, you need to read it now.
I read this and immediately thought "I need to hold this in my hands," so I made that happen! It took me less than a week (thanks, ADHD hyperfocus!) and every bit of it was fun.
Charlie did a fantastic job capturing Cade and Optimus' characters, to the point where I've basically accepted their work as my new canon and can't hear anything that Bay has to say because I'm too busy cheering on Cade as he sleeps on Optimus' giant metal chest.

Right. Not only is the characterization amazing, the plot is absolutely captivating. It's fun! It's exciting! Every chapter has something that made me squee!

But jokes aside, LIKE GOOD NIGHT NURSE THIS IS STUNNING. The COVER YOU DID. THE ACRYLIC. PURPLE SPACE GALAXY THEME. HI. The white, perfect shape of Prime’s sword Judgement/Excalibur. (also not me just realizing their sword shapes are the same in TLK.) THE MOON ON THE INSIDE BECAUSE ONE OF PRIME AND CADE’S THEMES IS ‘Talking to the Moon’ LIKE IM NOT FINE.
The fact my fic inspired you to CASUALLY BIND A BOOK has ruined me in all the best ways. My skin is clear. My depression is gone. My crops are watered. My barn husbands feels are back in full force.
Besides my undying affection over seeing such a thing, the only thing I can possibly hope to repay this kindness with is finally, finally, updating Salience. So with that, I’ll go try and reorganize my draft and get to work on the next chapter. While also taking breaks just to go and gaze upon a tangible creation you brought to life ;o;

ohh Anon my college thesis was basically "lemme tell you why animation is SO IMPORTANT TO ADULTS AND CAN TEACH US THINGS" SO NO THIS IS NOT A DUMB QUESTION. I think I'd always imagined KGA as an animated series--leaning toward a mixture of Don Bluth with Atlantis mixed in. A TINY bit of animated Beetlejuice with Tex Avery for the Marionette. (His mask is mostly unmoving except in extreme situations, so making him more fluid everywhere else would stand out nicely I think against the other animatronics.) Hand drawn but mixed with 3D elements as needed. If you've seen An American Tail, the Mouse of Minsk is how I picture the elements of creepy.

He is! Goldy uses Mike has a battery source and powers on with his Souls help. And yes I loved writing his official title that way to show they were weaved together. Or that instead of "safe mode booting" it's Goldy telling his Suit what he's doing because they two are so close by now~

I read the newest chapter of Lies Within and a few things I loved:
- DJ casually kidnapping Max bc his good friend asked and a love of headphones
- Glitchtrap's creepy possessiveness over Goldy. (Also wondering if Ness is truly discarded bc Mike is rotting away.)
- Gregory and Glamfred now have a third member! You can also see a bit under Gregory's tough guy exterior and realize that he's just a kid who is delighted by a lot of things (something I think a lot of fans forget)
- Vanessa and Daycare Attendant's dynamic as a meant to be pairing that got twisted. It feels like to me that Moondrop's mostly written her off in favor of Max (has a small spark of hope however) but Sunnydrop still wants her. Makes me wonder what it would've been like if Glitchtrap hadn't screwed things up.
I'm so glad you liked the recent chapter! While it didn't give me the same fight that chap 14 did, for some reason I was a little nervous with it. But I hit all the topics I wanted to on the outline, so we should be good for the upcoming climax. I commented on some of your bullet points, but since I ramble, tossing them under a RM lmao:

The only thing I need tumblr to do is to get like... cool with the idea you can hire people here to do commissions for you and to like.. consider monetary support for artists cuz one of the reasons and the biggest reason I moved to twitter in the first place is because people there buy my art. I make a living there doing art. And the vibe here is **we don't do that here** If you want artists to be here and do art you gotta be okay with the concept of artists trying to make money. I hate capitalism as much as the next person but I'm also 30 years old living with my fucking parents because I can't pay for a 1 bedroom apartment. Artists are not 'big business'. We're not Disney. We're just people trying to make a living or some money for groceries and shit.
