The Power Of Prayer
How else can I surrender to thee my dear,
Other than the means of prayer?
The only artful art of invocation
That readily reinvigorates the vocation.
A gentle pleasant plea to thee
Fills me full of glee.
It's a song of hope and hail;
I beleive thou never shall fail.
At all trials and times doleful,
Thou art the substantially hopeful;
At all trials and times helpful,
I shall remain to thee grateful.
I doubt not the power of prayer,
I believe in the fervor of prayer.
A seed of divine devotion sown
can never remain to thee unknown.
