Curtain Call
I suppose this is it, the last post I’ll be making here on Tumblr. My original plan was to stay on through my SFW art blog, but considering it’s only a secondary page to my primary blog - AKA this - I’m not sure how much I’ll even be able to access should it go under. I’m not even sure how many people are deleting their accounts versus simply leaving the robots to pick over the scraps, though I may as well see how long the blog can hold out on its own for anyone coming in late, eh?
That said, I wanted to deliver a tremendous THANK YOU to everyone who’s followed the blog the past few years, reblogged my work and given Kayla, Java and all my characters your love and support. I made a lot of new friends here, and that’s one of the best things I could take from this whole experience. You’ll still be able to find me through all the links in the post below, where you’ll find all the art and comics I saw fit to put up elsewhere (by now it’s too late to back up everything and Dropbox it).
Finally, one last hurrah for Kayla and the comic! It’s been almost 3 years since Kayla Komix “officially” began, and it wouldn’t be my current passion project if it wasn’t for everyone who liked, reblogged, and supported it since then. I keep every single piece of work I’ve created on my local machine, but I was still interested in archiving the particular presentation of my concept blog (https://cuoqetconcept.tumblr.com/), and my reblog tumblr, (http://clothingdamagerpg.tumblr.com/). While it was a bit finicky, I used Tumbl3 to scrape my likes as well. If you have the space and internet to spare, I strongly suggest you begin the archive process for blogs of your fancy before it is too late or the ability to do so vanishes between now and the impending changes.
It’s been an amazing ride so far. Tumblr has introduced me to an untold amount of creativity and inspiration that I would never give up if I had the choice. I’ve had the fortune and pleasure of getting to interact with so many great people and the incredible and inspiring works they author day after day. It is my hope there will always be a way to keep doing this for as long as there are people to appreciate it.
