@cemikat-blog

i dont get offended at white people jokes even though im white because:

  1. i can recognize white people as a whole have systemically oppressed POC in america, which is where i live
  2. most people when they make white people jokes only mean the shitty white people and i am not a shitty white person
  3. im not a pissbaby

my white friends that have reblogged this give me life

4. Sometimes I am a shitty white person and the jokes remind me to FUCKIN STOP

If ur white and like this post I fux with u

^absolutely

5. It’s hard to be offended when white people jokes involve bland food/tourist dads in socks and sandals/white girls in yoga pants obsessed with pumpkin spice/suburban PTA moms and other harmless and mostly true stereotypes while jokes about POC involve them being called thugs/criminals/slurs/uneducated/illegal immigrants.

i fucks with u heavy if ur white and you reblog this

6. They’re usually really fucking funny and don’t perpetuate stereotypes that will ever affect me economically, politically, or cause me any true harm, let alone create risks that “justify” my murder and/or death

Waits for my white mutuals to reblog😌

are people that lazy to need this

While I’m sure there are people too lazy to spin a fork, keep in mind people like this person who may be suffering from arthritis or a neurological disease or nerve damage or a thousand other conditions that might impair their ability to do things as simple as spin a fork to eat spaghetti.

These are used with people who can’t grip well:

This is for Parkinsons’s:

For people who can’t even bend their joints:

Here’s a product that guides your hand from your plate to your mouth

This one holds a sandwich

Like I get it. I used to see things like the fork and think “that’s fuckin’ lazy” or that product that holds a gallon and you just tip it and pour. But then I started working around the disabled and impaired and found out that these products aren’t meant for lazy people, they’re meant for people who need help.

So maybe next time you see something, instead of thinking “Wow, are people that lazy?” just be grateful that you’re able to do the things you do every day and take for granted, like being able to feed yourself and wipe your own ass because you have enough coordination and bendy joints to do it.

This isn’t specualtion either; the majority of products from commericals that we think are funny or silly are autally MEANT for hte disabled. But they are marketed towards the abled because the disabled aren’t considered a viable enough demographic on their own. the Snuggie for example? Created for wheelchair users.

This is actually really nifty.

oh my god of course the snuggie was for wheelchair users

Yo where can I get a bendy spoon

Sock slider saved my life

Hey guys. Fellow Player Malu (@Malucomplica on twitter) wants to change her name and gender on her Blizzard account, and they’re acting dismissive and refusing to act on it. She’s being harassed on Overwatch’s forums, not to mention on fb OW groups. It’s absolutely disgusting.

Please, signal boost as much as possible. Let it reach everywhere until Blizzard can’t ignore it anymore. We love Overwatch for its diversity - but if that’s going on, then it’s hypocrisy to a tee.

My dudes. This is a serious business here. We can’t allow a company to act in that way, steamrolling someone’s right to have their legal name on their stuff.

This ain’t art, but it’s probably a LOT more important than anything I’ve posted in this blog. Please RT/reblog/repost.

it’s not a problem for men to have body hair. But on a women its consider nasty & unhygienic…nah

Bless feminine peeps showing off happy trails though. I was teased so much for being hairy, and even after I started shaving my pits and legs I had a hairy stomach and up until I stopped shaving all together, people still teased me. Even though I don’t consider myself female anymore and love showing off my legs, I’m still afraid of crop tops.

It’s also really nice to see a body hair positivity post featuring a woc because they get almost no representation in that whatsoever

Strong words to use on a Resume

If you have ever had to write a resume for work or for an application, then you know the hardest part is figuring out what type of words to use that sound professional and and intelligent.
Example: If an application asks you if you have any relevant experience for a job at a day care center and you have experience, like you have babysat children. You would look at the words in the columns to see what words you should use that will help your resume stand out. You might put down “Have supervised and attended to children on a regular basis.”
I hope this is helpful to you.

Now this is a great resume list of action words.  I love that it’s broken down by types of jobs.  Saving for future use.

Why Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is my favorite media of All Time without spoiling anything

1. The plot moves a million miles per hour and has like, a minimum of two plot twists an episode. It’s super serialized and feels like a novel.

2. Answers that most series would drag out until the end are answered super quickly to keep the story moving.

3. The protagonists’ plight is really sad/interesting and you actually feel invested in their story and how it ends right from the first episode.

4. The protagonists have lots of agency and drive the story forwards, and there are multiple protagonists with their own plotlines.

5. Multiple interesting antagonists with intriguing worldviews.

6. The antagonists are super intimidating, not just to the characters but to the audience. Every scene one of them is in is extremely tense.

7. Unique setting that isn’t exactly fantasy and isn’t sci-fi.

8. The world’s “magic” has all of it’s rules explained so characters can’t manifest abilities you’ve never seen before without it being logical or foreshadowed.

9. Lots of tragic backstories, but the story has a light tone, and doesn’t try to be dark for no reason.

10. Never afraid to kill off characters, no matter how important, but gives lots of importance to every death that does happen so none of them feel “cheap”.

12. Romantic plotlines that don’t feel forced or boring. No love triangle nonsense to be seen.

13. Side characters that are actually given importance to the overall plot and are given their own characterizations and motivations.

14. Multiple badass female characters.

15. Midwifery being presented as awesome.

16. Gender norms being subverted left and right. Giant, muscly men full of emotions and tears. Women with majestic, long hair that have killed before and will kill again.

17. Deals with race, genocide and the aftermath of war, showing both sides of the conflict.

18. Doesn’t take itself too seriously. Contains the most masterful humorous to emotional tone shifts I have ever seen. They feel seamless.

19. Well choreographed combat scenes with innovative tactics abound.

20. This is subjective, but there are many, many scenes that are sad, or thought provoking, or spine-chilling. It’s a series that constantly shocks and amazes, even on rewatches.

21. AMAZING ending. You’ve heard of 2 episode climaxes. You’ve heard of 4 episode climaxes (hello, Avatar the Last Airbender). Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has a 15 EPISODE CLIMAX. That’s 5 straight hours of finale that literally NEVER GETS BORING.

22. Incredible philosophy.

JUST ALL OF THIS 👏👏👏

Larger breast bras vs. smaller breast bras

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REBLOG THE FUCK OUT OF THIS BRO

the only colors available after a c cup are white, brown, black, and for those special occasions…fluorescent orange.

As a former employee of Victoria’s Secret, I can attest to this being the truth. Good luck finding a good DD bra in any section other than the Body By Victoria nude colors section.

God bless! Now I can have pretty bras too!

I don’t know if they ship worldwide, but for the UK, Debenhams is a godsend. Wider straps, wide range, even have pretty good sports bras.

There’s also Torrid and here’s some coupons  because they can be a bit pricy sometimes.
