you know a show is great when you’re only a few episodes in and already have two great queer ships with completely opposite energy

an ancient garashir for your viewing pleasure. found a cool brush to paint with and went hog wild

normally the trope of "character x finds out character y thinks about them when they masturbate" is like. you know, it's convenient for fiction but hard to imagine an actual scenario where that wouldn't just be mortifying for everyone involved if it's literally your FIRST real exposure to the idea that this person wants you Like That. i mean it's just a great fanfic fantasy but like. not many characters you can imagine actually canonically going with it, if you're honest with yourself. especially if the means by which this knowledge was obtained is on the shady side, ethically speaking.

but garashir are both unhinged freaks who are a little bit self-obsessed and arrogant and they've also been so openly horny in their stupid little flirty conversations it's like oh yeah. no. they would do that. they would get together via stolen security footage from julian's bedroom or whatever. that feels like a genuine B-plot to an episode

crochet can’t be replicated by a machine but one of the central points of data as a character is that he’s not just a machine. just imagine someone giving him a hook and some worsted weight yarn, and he makes an absolute beaut of an afghan and then geordi probably mentions that he hears crochet can’t be done by a machine and then the look on data’s face, u know the look. u get the vision.
