ik you mean well, but endorsing faith based medicine is inevitably endorsing charlantry. there's a cottage industry of priests and faith healers that drive people into debt, blame them for not being emotionally invested enough when things don't work and drive people to do really desperate things. this is easier to do because they have no responsibility, bc it doesn't have to work out or be reproducible but yk, it might if you try hard enough? morale is important, yes, but if morale is located in placing personal faith in an external entity over their own autonomous desires, you are creating a paradigm set up to blame the patient for lacking personal faith. this drives them back into a position of being extremely vulnerable to mediators like priests and faith healers.
