- adora had no ideas that there were fairies in etheria before
- clueless girl
- so she used glimmer as her personal research person
- turns out fairies are like princesses except they aren’t as friendly as they seem to be
- i mean, a 4’11 being with pretty glittery wings and shiny short skirts with crazy long hair and a pretty face looks friendly to anyone
- so when a group of fairies went to bright moon castle to thank them for freeing etheria from the horde she was surprised
- especially when she saw the “leader” -per-say- of the five fairies
- to say she was beautiful was the least
- beautiful tan skin and long hair that went down to her lower back
- and a shiny green outfit that reminded her somewhat of perfuma
- she had a cake in her hands with shera decorations
- but adora couldn’t help but stare into her eyes the whole time they were there
- beautiful green eyes
- she was down bad
- adora started to look for the girl everywhere
- *literally*
- it took her months
- some may say she was obsessed
- “im not obsessed i just really want to know her”
- and when she found her she made sure she never let go
- she was exploring abandoned horde territory when adora found her
- “hello again”
- the fairy jumped in fear, and in less than a second adora was wrapped around unbreakable vines
- which she was then unwrapped in once the fairy realized who it was
- “you”
- adora tried starting conversation
- which just ended up in a dead end
- until the fairy -which adora had found out her name was flora- showed an immense amount of interest in the horde
- “to your luck, you have an ex horde soldier here”
- flora smiled brightly and next thing they knew it was almost the morning again as they had spent the whole day and night talking about their interests
- slowly they started seeing each other more often
- and every few weeks turned into days
- and next thing both knew, they were falling for each other
- fast.

- “i think i like you, flora”
- adora was the first to tell you
- and then flora agreed
- and next thing she knew flora was making small places they could have picnics at with her magic
- which was a thing adora loved
- flora showed her magic and adora spoke about her life in the horde
- they were happy
- and it would stay like that for a long time
