I figured I’d drop this here in case anyone comes wandering this way looking for answers after receiving a strange message from me out of the blue.

Hey, lovelies. I’m Morven. I used to be far more active on here than I am currently and one thing I used to do is send an ask out once a day to someone I followed. Just to spread a little love and warmth in the world. It’s a habit that I enjoyed and it brought me some love and warmth back in return but at some point I got busy and it trailed off.

But I decided to start it up again. It takes two minutes out of my day and it’s two minutes I’m happy to spend to possible cheer someone up. So if you receive one of my messages, that’s all that it is. Whether this is your first one or you used to get them from me when I began, I hope that they can find you at a time when you need it.

If, for any reason, you want to be taken out of my grab pile of names for this after receiving one, then let me know. You don’t have to explain why. I won’t be offended.

My own designs at last- sketching out some options for my own cloak now it’s all sewn together. Anyone have any favourites? I’m spoiled for choice and struggling to decide.

My project is finished! The image is taken from the Aberdeen Bestiary, created in the 12th Century, and it is sewn entirely with hand-dyed thread from the wonderful Mulburry Dyer.

It’s Election Day

My postal vote got slipped into the post box a couple of weeks ago, but for those who are voting today, please go out and use your vote well. Vote tactically if you have to, but just make sure your vote is another effective voice in helping to get the Conservatives out of power. But past that, for the love of all that is holy, please just go out there and vote.
