ONE. seldom does love have a place in politics : a game of life and death, a means of greed & corruption and everything in between. good intentions remain stagnant in liminal spaces, unwelcomed, unwanted, and unnoticed, overridden by a poison that even the strongest succumb to.

love is not found in politics. you imagine you will learn this the hard way, as will he.

you sit across the head of the kamisato clan, fingers twitching, hands politely folded in your lap as you fight the urge to rip apart the intricate fabric sought out for this momentous occasion.

love is not found in politics, you warn yourself, because that's all this is : politics. there is no joy to be found in this meeting, only first impressions and power plays. the corners of your lips curl into something practiced and perfected over and over again, even through the falling of tears birthed from sorrow and hatred.

yet there is something so gentle about ayato's expression that makes you wonder, makes you even more cautious and guarded than before. there's a spark of surprise that adorns his countenance at your expression, but he knows there is little happiness in such formalities.

ayato smiles, almost forced, and you try not to think about how you may have seen something so kind and genuine in it.

love is not found in politics. you will be sure to remember that.

Otome Discord Server hosting a fan art event!

Hi friends! My otome discord server is hosting a fan art competition over their favorite anime/otome character!

Good day friends! We are going to hold a fun event that I hope you guys will join. It will be a fan-art event of your favorite anime/otome character. The event starts today and ends on FEBRUARY 17th, 2022. This is so everyone won’t feel pressured and have time to draw out their fan art

RULES

1. NSFW is not allowed, use your own judgement 2. Art work must be submitted by Feb 17th, 2022 in events 3. It must be of an anime or otome character 4. No plagiarism or copying & pasting someone else’s artwork. (this should be a given) 5. No edits 6. It can be any form of media (aside edit) such as, mixed media, traditional, sketch, digital, etc

Prizes

1st - $15 gift card of your choice (itunes, amazon, visa, etc) and made into server icon 2nd - A month of nitro 3rd - a hug, that’s all I can afford.

How we will determine the winners

We will post an anonymous poll/survey with the creator/artist’s name. You will submit your vote. Yes, you can vote for more than one. It will remain completely anonymous. This way, no one feels obligated to vote for a friend.

childe doesn't remember what the terror feels like. the vision of a dark crimson splattered all over your flesh, the floor, and the flooding of red in a place that was never meant to be adorned with such an unholy hue. the failure to acknowledge what you have done, who you have killed, why you have killed them, and the knowing that there is yet another sin that weighs heavy on a soul that balances dangerously on the edge of sanity.

he doesn't know the feeling. he tilts his head, clueless, blue eyes watching as your figure trembles with trepidation. it is a strange thing, he thinks, the difference between you and him and the love that brings you together.

you, who strays away from the horror known as violence, with the heart that yearns for a harbinger that thrives on the adrenaline of knowing that death is dancing in the shadows with him. it doesn't make sense to him, but childe is never quite one to think much about these things, truthfully, so he won't dwell on it. ( and is there a need to inspect such things with that much sentiment? maybe not. but maybe he doesn't want to think too hard about how your differences may be the undoing of what you consider to be love. )
