we had a wicked storm last night and lost power around 12am. we have been without electricity since then, it’s been like 14 fucking hours??

i had to charge my phone in my car this morning after using my remaining computer battery to do it last night so i could call my coworker and say “i hear sirens, do we need to round everybody up and move to the ground floor?”

ended up a couple exits down from where we’re staying bc they actually have electricity and restaurants are open, but everybody and their damn mom is here bc i think it’s the only place
