Itโ€™s always kind of funny when the Powerpuff Girls, in fanart, are drawn with fingers and noses and toes and stuff and itโ€™s likeโ€ฆthey legit donโ€™t have those in canon. Itโ€™s not just a style choice, they actually donโ€™t have fingers and noses.

I mean, apparently Buttercup just sticks her hand to things to pick them up (S03E29 Criss Cross Crisis)

And in Oops, I Did it Again (s06E04B) the girls, when made without Chemical X, come outย โ€œnormalโ€ and doย have fingers, feet, noses, and normal faces.

So likeโ€ฆwhen everyone in the show calls themย โ€œbug-eyed freaks,โ€ย โ€œpumpkin heads,โ€ etc, they legit mean the girls have big round heads, giant eyeballs, and stump limbs.

I think itโ€™s safe to say that the Powerpuff Girls are objectively horrifying. I want to see fanart of that.

SWEET JESUS

alright i realise im a little late to the party here but going back to how the girls are able to grip things despite not having fingers

at first i thought maybe they could have tiny hooks at the end of the stumps that would snag onto surfaces, similar to cats tongues ( and yeah alright spiderman ) but the issue is that they probably wouldnt be effective for smoother surfaces

they could also have wrinkled pads like geckos feet that could cling to smoother things no problem, but then the problem is maintaining enough suction to actually lift and carry an object

i fear the solution may be something even Worse

this better not take any more wild turns

@joelsartore Offers the Worldโ€™s Species of All Sizes a Moment in the Spotlight

To see more of the Photo Ark, follow @joelsartore on Instagram.

For many of the captive animal species Joel Sartore (@joelsartore) photographs, itโ€™s the first โ€” and perhaps, only โ€” time their kind has been documented. โ€œThis is their only chance to sing,โ€ Joel, a contributing photographer at National Geographic for the past 25 years, says. His concept for National Geographicโ€™s Photo Ark collection was sparked at home with his family as his wife underwent treatment for breast cancer; Joel acknowledged his need to create a body of work that could truly make a difference. โ€œThe goal of the project is to get the public to turn their eyes away from everyday distractions and to think about the other species we share the planet with โ€” while thereโ€™s still time to save them.โ€ So far heโ€™s photographed more than 5,000 creatures of all shapes and sizes with studio lighting on either a white or black background, a great equalizer. โ€œA mouse is every bit as important as a polar bear in these pictures. And a tiger beetle counts as much as a tiger.โ€ #WorldWildlifeDay

2015 WSL World Tour

#1 | Adriano โ€œMineirinhoโ€ de Souza

The moment finally came for this man! WORLD CHAMPION (And the first Brazilian to win the legendary Pipeline Master). Coming from 3rd in the rankings to 1st in the last event, takes a lot of work specially when surfers like Mick Fanning and Filipe Toledo are ahead but this man did it all, with a little help from 2014โ€ฒs World Champ and fellow countryman, Gabs Medina.

An example that hard work is worth. No one trains more and thrives over a goal than this gentleman and Iโ€™m very happy for his accomplishment. He deserves it.

He went on to win 2 event in 2015, Margaret River and the Pipeline Maters. He never placed last in any event despite a few 13th places in a few events. Parabรฉns Mineirinho!
