I swear, when Alley is clean-shaved, I can't recognize him. When he has this scruff, he looks like a manly man (fucking hot), but without any trace of facial hair, he looks like a little kid. It's really cute, but so confusing.

There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of the men I served with, who never got to enjoy the World without war.
This is just a quick little poll I put together with @theonceandfuturecaptain‘s input to see if anyone in the fandom would be interested in having a Big Bang challenge! Here’s the fanlore definition of a Big Bang, if you don’t know:
“A Big Bang is a specific type of challenge usually involving long fics and accompanying artwork. This type of challenge is a reprise of the old zine tradition of collaboration between artists and writers for internet fandoms.
Most Big Bangs have a similar format: Writers sign up and begin writing stories. When the early drafts of the stories are available, each one is assigned one or more artists, or artists might claim stories from posted summaries. Artists create fanart to go along with the story. This art can take the form of illustrations, manips, photo collages, vids, icon sets, etc.”
And here are the tentative details, although it would certainly be flexible as it develops!
Signups would likely start in early October, with posting in April or May. Minimum word count would be 15,000, with no maximum. The only requirements would be to create complete, previously unpublished works centering on Band of Brothers characters. AUs would be fine, canonverse would be fine, it would be alright to focus on only a few characters or one pairing or do an ensemble cast thing, really anything goes. The goal would just be to have fun and add some quality works to the fandom!
