Yes I have a preference for creating fluffy content and then reading dark content instead of creating it myself but I've never, ever tried to put myself as "above" others who create dark content, and I've specifically called out that behavior several times over the years because people keep fucking doing that bc they assume things about who I am bc of what I like to draw.

Just because I like drawing fluff doesn't mean I'm a good person, I'm a good person because I fucking try to be kind and caring and help others whenever I fucking can.

Maybe try not equating someone's fictional interests to their morality, or you'll accidentally end up surrounding yourself with horrible people that say the "right" things and like the "right" fictional stories.

Fem designs for Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damian! I put a silly amount of thought into these designs so I'm really happy with how they turned out

I don't label myself as proship bc I think that misses the point entirely and is just focusing on a symptom of a wider societal problem, but I ultimately think shipcourse is silly and I do not care for it to overlap with my art accounts

And yeah, in canon they're technically brothers, but I just... really dislike that writing choice when they have virtually 0 reason to think of each other like that. It's a label to more describe their relationships to each other into regards to their relationships with Bruce than it is what they view each other as imo? I would sincerely LOVE a comic where they decide to be brothers and chose that relationship for themselves but no one's written that 😭

I'm just really picky on how I portray MY interpretations of bat clan characters ig? For example, I do not see Dick as a son to Bruce, that's downplaying what they are and shoving their extremely complicated non-traditional partnership/friendship/mentor-and-mentee relationship into a box it wouldn't quite fit in. They're MORE than just that.

I have. So many thoughts about the bat clan. I want to figure out how to portray all those nuances in my art somehow so bad.

Lmao anon I'll gladly ship incest all day I just literally cannot see them as brothers; there's been like 0 genuine attempts by writers to have them even remotely chose to have that sort of relationship with each other and it kinda pisses me off that writers have decided to slap the label "brothers" onto them without any effort of writing that! I DO view the rest of the bat boys as brothers (more or less--depends on the duo) and still ship the hell out of them too.
