My mom is being released from jail and needs to restart her life!

I got some great news last friday. NEXT friday, this coming (on march 1st) my mom will be released from prison and thank god because I was going to be homeless soon. She’s recovered from opiate addiction and is determined to never make the same mistakes and NEVER end up back in that place. My mom needs basics and clothes. She’ll have only the clothes on her back when she’s released and 50$, and she was released to a halfway house which will provide a few clothes for her but she had one of those massive work mom wardrobes and I’m sure she will miss having her own clothing. She’s about a size 7 / medium or large. I’m not sure about her shoe size. She’ll need clothes of all kinds. I’ll try to cover socks/underwear. But she will also need basics, like personal hygiene products and shampoo and all of that. Not to mention I was able to save her phone, but its an ancient brick and frankly, she needs a new one and doesn’t even know it. We also need money for transportation and ultimately, though thats not the point of this donation post, a car. I’d like to raise 200$ for a little cushion for her. I’ll have photos of her when she’s released (its been almost two years!) and I’ll be happy to show you all her smile and how happy she is to receive anything you can send her.
