Must say, the constant qualifiers and assurances of well intent that many content creators pepper throughout their videos is not only tiresome as hell, but a sad commentary on how the internet has become "find the problematic thing" hell for almost everyone. As if people approache everything with this mindset of "how can I pretend this is bad and/or non-inclusive, and then publicly shame the creator so they have to debase themselves with profuse apologies and corrections?"
And it's hopeless too, this sad attempt to preempt any and all offence by trying to mention everyone and everything, to cover every possible exception and outlier to whatever it is you're making a video about, even if the subject itself is already clearly a niche topic. Someone making a history video about Marie Antoinette's execution should not feel they have to reassure the audience that they support the revolution and monarchy is bad. Someone showing you tips on how to downsize a sewing patterns should not have to spend 30 seconds assuring the audience that upsizing patterns is much more common, and that "this blog supports all sizes of beauty."
But just look at the comments under perfectly innocent tutorial vids, and you'll see why creators try to hedge, try to preempt the BS. But it's a waste of time.
