I’m honestly fucking appalled that the greater LGBT community is dead silent on the fact that the Indian Child Welfare Act is going under review which means that white people are finalizing their steps at complete genocide against us (Native peoples). They will sterilize all Natives and steal our babies to be raised by you demons (white people). I’m sure the gays are silent though because how many white gays adopt children not of their own race. Fucking baby stealers.
As a white gay person currently going through the fostering program to be a potential foster parent this is so fucking important. I know it hurts when it's difficult to raise children by yourself but stealing children from their culture is an evil act.
To look away from this is despicable. Our culture is under attack, yes, as is our way of life and our ability to raise a family. But the further subjugation of the native people of this land and the further theft of their culture can never be the answer.

the uk government is trying to scrap the human rights act.
i’ve not seen a lot in the media about this so i’m going to do my best to put this into words and explain what will happen if the government is successful in replacing the human rights act with the rights removal bill.
this will mean that in the uk:
- you won’t be allowed to say anything negative about the government
- if you are disabled or chronically ill, you won’t be allowed to say no to being given a DNR in hospital
- you won’t be allowed to bring ‘trivial’ human rights violations to court
- public authorities (the police) won’t have to actively protect people’s human rights
- the uk military will be allowed to basically do whatever they want overseas
- if you ever commit a crime, they can disregard your human rights
- the government will not be obligated to obey human rights
