In good company on this dreary Saturday afternoon 🌧☕
I don't tend do specific coffee reviews a lot nowadays, but i HAD to share this absolute banger.
I've had this as both a filter (as it proudly says on the bag), but always one to be difficult, I've also ran it through the espresso machine - a little longer of an extraction than your usual 'spro, and it's been divine. Similarly to a coffee I sampled with the Concious Coffee team back at the Manchester Coffee Festival, sampling a 'funky' bean on espresso really does knock your socks off when done well.
I wholeheartedly recommend grabbing a bag of this if there's any left, or exploring the other options in their UK online shop (apparently 'FEB10' will give you 10% off teehee) - I've yet to have a bad coffee from the Conscious team and you're supporting a phenomenal independent brand that pushes the boundaries in specialty coffee, AND are absolute cuties whilst doing it.

This weekend saw the sun make a cheeky cameo in what has been one hell of a long winter.
Headed out to Richmond upon Thames and picked up a silky smooth oat flat white from a fav, Kiss the Hippo. It was so tasty that the strawberry coffee notes mixed with oatly made me reminisce of strawberry milk.
Counting down the days until spring at this point. I miss getting coffee to go and exploring.
I feel a little out of sorts writing this but having worked for 10 years in coffee now, alongside the news that tumblr is making a resurgence, I’m hopping back online.
I’ve reinstalled tumblr on my phone and bookmarked it on my MacBook. Super excited to be back in the space where it all started after all these years. I created this space when I was 14 (a whopping 13 years ago) when I wanted to get into coffee. I’m now top of my game in my career and have an abundance of opportunities, arguably all down to this page and the community that supported me. Massive thank yous to you all.
Last thing to say I guess is: Hello!!
