im worldbuilding rn and i must ask. do you think the killjoys play any insturments and if so, which ones? jet seems like the type of person to sing very well but never do it in front of other people.

absolutely agree on the jet singing thing- personally i think he's the best singer of the four with poison behind her. people just tend to hear party sing more often so they assume theyre the best

as for actual instruments, the only one i think actually knows how to play anything is ghoul. that man is a DRUMMER and i will stand by that until the day i die!!! he has a kit it built himself out of old junk and scraps and shit. i think kobras also kinda interested in drums as like. a way of venting his anger and shit without getting into fights and shit, but he doesnt really play songs- not intentionally at least. he just kinda hits the shit however he wants until he calms down (but ghoul does absolutely try and teach him some real songs from time to time too)

i think poison wants to learn guitar- has since they first found out what one was. they always talk abt saving up enough to get one of their own but there just always seems to be something more important they gotta get whenever they go to the market. maybe the others join together to buy them one and they piece together how to play a few chords or teach themself some solos by listening to tapes over and over. i dont think theyre master at it but theyre definitely pretty good for someone teaching themself how to play in the middle of a nuclear desert

also ghoul finds a trumpet in a junkyard and it becomes his prized possession. does he know anything abt playing it? no not at all. does that stop it? no not at all

JET PROPAGANDA i honestly think everyone has a different hc on what their gender and pronouns are. the way the danger days community functions is that since we have such a small amount of canon to work with most people build out their own personal “killjoyverse”/canon based on headcanon. and that extends to the characters because there is canonically very little we know about them.
