we did an cut-out animation (inspired by Lotte Reiniger) as a project 2 semesters ago and I just found my character + animation.
Hey! I just want to say that your artwork is magnificent! Keep on working and try hard on getting your next degree 'cause I have high hopes for you !!!

acrylic on canvas // had to concentrate on something unrelated to animation to let my brain chill for a moment
started working on my bachelors degree yesterday
During the winter 2015/16 I started working on something that started rather small. Long story short, in the end I had a 7-minute animatic with layout sound, a plot that’s very personal, a character design and some animation tests (like this one) I really hope that at some point during the next years I get the opportunity to finalize this project, since I put much work and heart into it, but unfortunately I don’t have the time at the moment. Expect more art and animation related post during the next time! I’ll start working on my bachelors degree - an animated short about someone being wrong in their body and I’m just so excited to be working on this!
when someone ask what i’m doing and i’m like “i study media art and design, i mostly do animations” and then they ask me “okay, but can you even get a REAL job with this?” and i’m just sitting there like
no, i just like wasting my time for fun
