This probably sounds obvious, but I learned today that prisoners aren't protected by OSHA regulations, and that this is another reason why employers are so eager to utilize this modern slavery. It's only a couple cents an hour, less transportation costs than the overseas sweatshops, and if you want people to work with hazardous materials without proper training? That's fine too! Prison labor is the ultimate free market solution!

If you want to really change the world, prisoner rights and prison reform is the way to go. Removing the ability of the ruling class to effectively punish the population frees everyone to challenge them in meaningful ways. Arbitrary violence and incarceration is how they keep people scared and divided. There is no crime in our society that isn't generated by our society. Even the worst ones you can think of.

Prisoner rights are human rights. Prison abolition is mass freedom.

I always think about that one Aether Foundation employee who is implied to have been one of the Ex-Team Plasma grunts who were around in Driftveil in BW2 and tried to fix their wrongdoings. They must've been in fucking shambles after the events of SuMo.

when you join an organization in unova that supposedly helps pokemon but turns out your boss and even some of your co-workers were manipulating everyone and actually abused pokemon for their own personal gain and also your boss is a shitty father so after everyone disbands you try to make up for your mistakes and decide to join an organization in alola that helps pokemon but turns out your boss was secretly experimenting on pokemon in an underground lab and your co-workers were in on it and also your boss has a collection of living frozen pokemon and shes a shitty mother also

as a huge lover of birds, 90% of the concern against wind turbines being used for energy is literally just pro fossil fuel propaganda. birds ARE at a risk however there is a lot of strategies even as simple as painting one of the blades that reduces a lot of accidental deaths. additionally renewable energy sources will do more in favor of the environment that would positively impact birds (and all of us). one study found over one million bird deaths from wind turbines. while that is a shockingly high number and we should work to drastically shrink it, at least 1.3 billion birds die to outdoor cats on a yearly basis. it was never about caring about birds

there was a study done in 2015 that shows an even greater possible yearly divide than the 2012 one

A small cat has just caught running away from the window after several years. This cat is guilty of inviting another small cat to run away too, so he is given the funny face penalty asap.

SILLY ALERT

In early Japanese copies of Super Mario 64, skipping the introductory Lakitu dialogue by performing a triple jump off the side of the hill to the right of the castle and then landing on the bridge by jumping off the castle roof while dying at the same time will cause the game to not progress. Lakitu will appear but not talk to Mario, and the game will not react to any input while both of them continue looking at each other forever.

In all other versions of the game, this was somewhat fixed (in the sense of avoiding the game becoming unplayable) by having Lakitu first talk to Mario normally, and then Mario dying immediately after the dialogue ends.
