A burrito with a blog.

IT’S MARCH 20TH! YOU CAN REBLOG THIS ONCE A YEAR. DO IT OR YOU WON’T GET DOUBLE THUMBS UP.

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

Chrysler Stealth Concept, 1982. Presented at the Chicago Auto show, a prototype coupé based on the Plymouth TC3 L-body platform. It was powered by a turbocharged 2.2-litre 4-cylinder engine that later appeared in the fifth generation Dodge Charger. Mazda RX-3 brochure (UK market), 1973. The RX-7 and the RX-3 were both marketed in Japan using the Savanna model name. The RX-3 had sold reasonably well but 50% of sales were for the 2 door coupé model which gave Mazda the confidence to launch the second generation Savanna (first generation RX-7) as a sports car.

Brubaker Box, 1972, in Soylent Green (movie, 1973). Soylent Green was a dystopian science fiction movie set in an ecologically depleted future where the Greenhouse Effect has resulted in dying oceans, pollution, poverty, overpopulation and euthanasia. The movie is set in the year 2022 and, instead of using bespoke futuristic cars, used a Brubaker Box which was a kit van based on the chassis of a VW Beetle. The vehicle used was apparently the same one that appeared on the cover of the March 1972 edition of Car & Driver magazine.
