Elphaba Diggs was the verdant princess of Oz, the only child and heir of the Wizard himself. When she arrived at Shiz, she was the talk of the campus. Crowds parted around her, awed by the magic that seemed to radiate from her very pores. Flowers seemed to bloom in her presence, and even the air smelled sweeter. People said she was the second coming of the Sages, more powerful even than her father. One day, she would inherit all of Oz and bring the dawn of a new Emerald Age.

One social-climbing Gillikinese girl who aspired to be a sorceress was beneath the Wonderful Witch’s notice. Galinda wouldn’t stand for that. Elphaba was the most powerful woman in Oz, and Galinda was going to be by her side.

Or, What if Elphaba was raised by the Wizard from around age 8. This is @go-sullivan’s fault

I don't know if this trope for bad guys ("charmingly quirky, eccentric, somewhat paternalistic leader beloved by many who is actually an antagonistic figure hiding dark secrets and diabolical schemes") has a name for it, but I gotta say it's quite fun whenever I see it.

the problem with the catfight scene isn't that it's too much of a joke. because honestly the book version is 100x funnier. glinda and elphaba reunite after like two decades and elphaba's first words are "wow glinda you look terrible wtf are you wearing" and glinda gets so turned on her brain goes out the window and she starts being racist in like three different ways. then glinda tells elphaba about how she's given an important family heirloom to a random ass kid from the sticks but makes sure she draws attention to her pushed up bosom as she does it. and elphaba doesn't even care cuz she's pissed about the shoes and glinda's like "well those shoes won't make your father love you" and her dumb gay ass starts crying about how elphie abandoned her. the musical has nothing on that

important context that cranks the hilarity of this moment to eleven: they are doing all of this at nessarose's funeral

hating is fun but sometimes you see someone only ever be a hater and never a lover and it's like. ok well do you like anything at all or do you only see the world in shades of bad to worse

since snap benefits are being threatened i wanna share the single resource i can atm which is the woman behind Dollar Tree Dinners. for years now she has consistently provided filling, healthy recipes that really push the envelope on good meals from dollar tree ingredients. especially since next month will involve lots of family meals regardless if you celebrate the holiday, people should be pleased to know she puts together videos showing how to make a holiday meal on a budget.

Said it a year ago and I’ll say it again.

Pirate all your favorite shows, movies and games while you still have the chance.

Oh, and never stop supporting physical media.

Oh no!! I just tripped Over this rock in The Garden! They really need to put up some kind of Wall… and I dropped my Link all over the ground…

I really need To Watch where I’m going, geez…

it's usually morally correct to make fun of the usa but whenever i hear british people do it it feels kinda tone deaf. idk if we have the high ground here guys. its like your mom making fun of your mental illness like ma'am where do you think i got it from.
