I remember the days I actually hoped B&G would be good. Now I'm just holding my breath each issue hoping they don't get 'no-homo'-ed into the moon. But you know, even thats still a lot. Nothing happens. they both act strange. I'm not sure how I feel about Rip's new look. And now I skim issues before reading them looking for new, awkwardly drawn, meme potential panels. I spotted one:
what is this? upper case and lower case? those two male lions? idk but it amuses me.
Im getting more and more impatient with the series. To the point i no longer read the issues I just skim them completely. Considering what I'm gathering is going on with Rip, I'm glad I'm only skimming tbh.

Hi Tade! Thank you so much! I don't know if this will help at all, but I tried to scrape together some of my process and add annotations for you to read. This is by no means the only way to get the same effect but this is my roundabout way to do it. Some of it I had to skip cause, as you will see, I tend to merge my layers often so some steps in between were lost. Either way, I hope it helps. NOTES: I tend to use CSP and photoshop back and forth very often. These are generally the steps I take, but I have a very sporadic way of coloring an image or drawing so when doing adjustments with the line curve, setting the layer type or hue adjustments, I tend to adjust based on what looks good. In one drawing I might set something on overlay and in another, it might be exclusion. It all depends on how it looks and if I like it. If things are looking too rough in the color stage, I often also use noise reduction in PS to smooth the brush strokes. I set the strength to 10 and everything else to 0. And then, I export the image and bring it back to CSP where continue the piece by painting over what I want to be sharper, like lines.
