ATL Alfa Romeo 1900
This Alfa Romeo powered sports coupe, was built by ATL ( Autotecnica del Lario) in the city of Lecco in Lombardy in the mid-sixties. The chassis consists of varying diameter steel tubing with boxed-in sections to which all of the mechanical ancillaries are attached. The voluptuous bodywork is hand formed in aluminum and is suspended over a steel birdcage like the patented Touring Superleggera method on the Maserati 3500GT or Aston Martin DB Series. The suspension is independent on all four wheels with coil spring shock absorbers, together with front disc and rear drum brakes and lovely period wire wheels. The engine is Alfa Romeo’s classic four-cylinder 1900 twin-camshaft unit derived from the 6C
Lamborghini Countach LP400 S "Cannonball Run," 1979. Chassis number 1121112 was originally delivered to the Lamborghini distributor for Rome, Italy, SEA Auto, who almost immediately had the car exported to the United States of America. Hal Needham. the movie's director, decided the factory original Countach wasn’t quite wild enough for the film, so it was modified by adding a new front spoiler with additional lights for night driving. In 2021 The Cannonball Run Countach made history by entering the Library of Congress National Historic Vehicle Register.
