What I like about this comic is that it doesn’t “trivialize” mental health problems in and of themselves. It’s clear that the koala IS genuinely traumatized by what’s happened. But it does emphasize that the mental health problems are a symptom of some real tangible problem that needs to be dealt with immediately.

TF2 Lore: M-preg is real and Medic likely is the reason to thank for that. New Zealand is sunk beneath the ocean. Abraham Lincoln was a merc in the century-long gravel war in New Mexico.

TF2 Deeplore: Scout’s actual name is Jeremy because his voice actor is a fan of Jerma.

The tragedy was very obvious. It was the entire point of the film.

i watched this video and its hilarious. they do the Bad Youtuber Video Essay thing where they just sequentially recount every single thing that happened in the movie with occasional comments, and when they get to the scene where truman’s best friend is talking him down and it’s revealed he’s just being fed lines, they go like (imagine i’m doing a burgerkingfootlettuce voice here) ‘If You Pay Attention... This Is Actually Pretty Sad”

I dream about a world where people are honest in fandom spaces.

"I don't like this ship because they get in the way of the ship I like" instead of arguments about why "Shipping X is wrong" or "X ship doesn't make sense."

"Don't interact if you like x trope, because it makes me uncomfortable," instead of "if you like X, you're condoning it in real life" (usually coming from people into fandoms where the source media is pretty violent.)

I honestly respect people that just say "I don't like this character," "I don't like other ships with my blorbos except my OTP." Because, that's what fandom spaces are about. Temporally escaping from reality surrounding yourself with stuff that you like, that makes you happy. Not some... Weird, useless, energy draining moral crusade.

I always thought the Evangelist was super interesting, especially in relation to 2-D. And well since that timeline and her existence as a whole is ambiguously retconned I get to make my own connections. Enjoy.
