- Dan’s parents outlived their child
- Ella will be all alone at the precinct now
- Dan basically died in Chloe’s arms
- Dan won’t be able to see his daughter graduate middle school, become a teenager, teach her how to drive, see her first date, graduate high school and maybe college, walk her down the aisle, or possibly watch her become a mother
- Dan is being tortured for something he had no control over and has no idea how to make it stop
- Lucifer was so broken he not only referred to Trixie as something nice (“my sweet summer child”), but he actually referred to her by her name for the rest of the episode (though not to her face)

There is honestly nothing more satisfying than the lovers to enemies trope. Enemies to lovers are great but lovers to enemies? Maximum pain and angst. Nothing hurts like the moment when the main character realizes that the person they thought they could trust and was falling for has been working against them the entire time and now they are on opposite sides even though they still have lingering feelings for each other. SO. GOOD.
can’t wait to hear this song called Love Story bet it’s gonna be a real hit
