“But we don’t even know the plot of the Cassian Andor Disney+ show or if it’ll be any good!” Must a tv series “have a plot?” Must it be “good?” Is it not simply enough to stare at Diego Luna’s face on my screen every week?

Something that I deeply appreciate about all of you is that sometimes you allow me to make the videos that I want to make. Hi, welcome to me time.

Ryan Coogler vs. Joss Whedon

this is the difference between a director who sees female characters as fully developed people with agency vs a director who just sees female characters as hot, fuckable things

I was talking to someone about the Castlevania Netflix series and somehow the characters’ affinity for the word “fuck” was brought up. He had mentioned that this was unrealistic, seeing as the Trevor’s bit in the Casltevania timeline was likely set before the word fuck was invented.

So a Google search was done.

Trevor Belmont’s era is set 1476-1479 AD.

Fuck started being used in…

So, if you will: the characters in the Castlevania Netflix series excessively say “fuck” because it is a new, hip word.
